I can remember the days of the cheap tablets being plastic and resistive touch screen. I remember when the cheap tablets did not even have the google play store or any google apps. You had to side load them. This is good to see that someone with very limited funds can enjoy the basics.

I just recently bought one to check out. It seems pretty snappy and the screen is pretty bright but leans blue in color temp. It can't play KZbin higher than 1440p unless you cheat. The speakers are pretty weak and low volume but headphones sound fine on it. I decided to step up to a Lenovo P11 gen2 with much better speakers and the screen looks better for 30 bucks more on sale at Best Buy. We decided to keep it to upgrade my sisters ancient high definition Fire tablet that the speakers are shot on. She says it's faster and brighter and she doesn't care how the speakers sound because she's hard of hearing and she hears it fine anyway. It's a really nice tablet for the money as long as you're OK with the sound so I'd recommend it other than that little quibble. It does support a memory card if you need more storage which is nice to have the option as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm sure it'll help someone out here! The screen is a little blue, but one of the alternatives right now is the fire mac if you can get it on sale for $150. The lenovo p11 gen 2 seems like an interesting choice as well.

Yeah, I was trying to find something I'd like better for not a ton more money and was looking at various recent Lenovo tablets that are bright and maybe could play 4k you tube with better sounding speakers. The P11 gen2 was on sale for 199 at my closest store so figured I'd buy it and test drive it. I like it better than the ONN and the speakers are way better with some extra options. I can force it to play 4k KZbin with the right player but it doesn't like it any better than my other tablets including my Samsung tabA that will play them but still gets jumpy. The ONN for the money though really is a nice tablet. Unless you want to spend 5 or 600 bucks seems like no tablet can do everything I want so these two are excellent compromises depending on your budget and what you can live with. Sister really likes the ONN and still thinks it's way better then the Fire high resolution tablet she had, which for it's time was probably the best looking tablet Amazon ever sold.

Well yes the 2021 11-inch model is good but today I just got the 2023 11 inch and I think it's way better than the previous model. My grandma bought it for me brand new as a gift, And boy I love it. And also the cemra is also and improvement too with the 5mp front shooter and 8mp rear shooter instead of 1mp like the previous ones!

I picked up the 11 inch model. watching this video on it as we speak! You can tell the display is kind of cheap, but the resolution is really nice. the speakers sound pretty cheap, thats my biggest complaint. cant beat it for the price

A headphone jack is a must so this one is in the running.The ipad has lost its lustre since they got rid of the headphone jack not to mention the memory cannot be expanded on the ipad.

There’s this amazing invention called “Bluetooth Headphones.” Somehow they work with an iPhone. So unless for some reason you’re listening to HiFi Audio on a device with a pre-amp or high end audio processor (Sony Walkman audio player for example) you have some sort of pre-amp between your device and a really good pair of headphones where it would actually be worth it to have a preamp, the headphone jack is practically a novelty.

Sorry, cannot recommend. Even though I own one, When Google chrome updates it's ad security policy ,it crashes the chrome browser or most browsers running a chromium base. You have to save your links on chrome browser, then remove all updates to chrome, restore the original one that came with the tablet then restore your sign in and reload your tabs. There seems to be an issue with the display of data on fetching information as the search bar is visible but all data received is blocked out. Basically a black screen with a search bar. There have been issues for a while since Google has other tablets that this happens to. Hopefully onn or Google issues a fix. Also no link to external HDMI or video over cable, though does have a cast of sorts. It does support some otg

I bought 2 onn 11.6 for my niece last 6-8 hours each, time of battery life on box is misleading, after about 6 month battery is on both very bad maybe about 2 hours then they die,, now they are having problems, they were awesome at first.

It doesn't seem that you replied comments but hoping that you do... 1. Is it true that in order to connect to Wi-Fi that you have to actually have a service plan (carrier)? 2. L1 vs L3 = Wi-Fi or Wildvine not sure what it's referring to (display quality?), but understand that L1 is better than L3 & this has L3. Is this a game changer for purchasing? 3. Any way of connecting this to HDMI? 4. Wi-Fi 2.5 or 5? 5. Bluetooth ?

It has Bluetooth Widevine L3 basically means that in streaming apps you can only play videos up to 360p and you can play KZbin up to 1440p
