I witnessed my parents go through 25 years of God's forgiveness. My dad looked at stuff that hurt my mom she fought through it and my dad came back and loved my mom. Congratulation's Kenny and Shelby and and may your next 16 be twice as blessed. My favorite trips are the ones you make with your family. We can't really call Jackson and Lily kids anymore (well, you and Shelby can), they have grown into wonderful young individuals with great personalities. And to be honest with you, an untrained dog always needs guidance especially in the woods so I am happy you take extra car of Monty. My husband and I have that same tent. The fly leaked at the top tie-offs (that we fixed with seam seal) but otherwise it was ok. Big enough for the two of us, two adult grandkids and a very spoiled Golden Retriever.

"Hot here.... at 80 degrees," LOL. Oh, it was 96 here today and will be the same tomorrow - central Alabama. We likely will have daytime temps in the 90s until at least September, with a day or two as low as 88. I grew up in western Oregon (lived there 22 years) between the Cascades and the Coast Range, and loved camping on the coast - Cape Perpetua was one of my favorite places - Newport is fantastic - great shops, great food, great view and a most scenic bridge. There is a great kite shop in Newport - really great and has lots of unusual kites.
