It’s nice to know even a pro like you will make a 12 Mike hike for no gold. It makes me feel better about all my gold-less hikes haha. I’ve walked some serious hikes for some new spots and have found zero many times. That’s the part of prospecting for new spots I guess. Cool video glad I ran into this older one.

Where in Cave Creek are you gonna go? I just moved to Arizona in August just before the Anthem area, and where I used to live in California was gold heaven (Oroville) so now I've been thinking about beginning the process of looking for areas and gathering equipment.
@mmmfun774 жыл бұрын
Nathan Kaopua oh my goodness. I grew up in Los Angeles. When I was in school at Loma Linda, I would go off roading checking out the old gold mines! Cave Creek has many , many areas to look for gold! Within the ‘Golden Triangle ‘ are great places to go and there are a lot of them..... Googling the Golden Triangle you can see the large area of Az that is mapped, fertile with gems and precious metals... One of my patient’s I saw years ago owns a lot of land filled with such soil. He is an actual prospector. He found a way to sift the soil and separate the different kinds of gems and precious metals with the help of European technology. At that time, years ago, he had lawyers and was in set up mode. Always wanted to know how profitable it was! He said his daughter and son in law were metal detecting in the Bradshaw Mountains and found an old barn. They found old coins, two were gold! Treasure is out there

Most everywhere in Arizona is claimed, do you jump the claims or do you get permission to hunt them?
@NUGGETSHOOTER5 жыл бұрын
There are open areas if one knows how to find them and more than you think. yes I also have private claims to hunt as well as club claims.
@RayHabyan5 жыл бұрын
@@NUGGETSHOOTER Thank you for the reply. The reason I asked is because when I moved to Arizona years ago, a claim owner was on trial for murder in Phoenix. Someone was prospecting on his claim and he shot him. The outcome of the case was that the court upheld 1863 mining laws that allow one to protect their claim and acquited the guy. I think that was the year of the laws but, it was around that time. So please be careful when searching.

A question: I notice when you use a PI machine, you seem to dip the coil down and lift it as you pass over the target. But when using the Monster, you sweep more level and side to side. Is this a normal sweeping motion for a PI machine? Will you demonstrate your sweep method with the PI machine in your next video????
