Quint's Darkglass settings on the Bass was right on ! Absolutely love the tone ❤

Sorry, zoned out typing his name on that one. John McCall actually played bass on this one, and you're right. His rig sounded great!

Wesley is low key the MVP of the Walrus band. These jams are always so good. Is there a Walrus band playlist somewhere?
@walrusaudioeffects9 ай бұрын
He's a champ for sure. There is a pedal play playlist! kzbin.info/aero/PLNDd3_DAn90bWG5NYGLd45wj9Vbk_94yZ

It's $130, which you might think is cheap. But here in Japan, the BOSS DD8 costs $131. I'm interested in Ambient, but unfortunately it's not cheap in Japan.
@walrusaudioeffects9 ай бұрын
Interesting! A DD8 is $190 in USD.

I would expect the Japanese of all people to appreciate craftsmanship.

Guitar on the right and drummer are Walrus employees. Guitar left and bass are local musician friends!

In this example it sounds beautiful, wide, but it's a mono pedal (Fundamental Delay as well), are these guitars double-tracked and panned L/R? Thank you.
@walrusaudioeffects9 ай бұрын
No double tracking but since there are two guitars they are panned some to hear separation between the two!

I love you guys pedals, but if you're doing a demo on a certain pedal and you're running through a whole floor full of other pedals, it's hard to evaluate the pedal you're suppose to be featuring.
@walrusaudioeffects9 ай бұрын
Thanks! Thats why we do a separate technical demo as well as pay other demo artists to showcase the pedal on its own. These pedal play vids are meant to hear the pedal in context with a full band setting to see how it can fit in to a mix and stack while using other effects!

I liked walrus audio when they were in portland, now that you guys are in oklahoma and looking all oklahoma like the vibe is becoming lost on what you had in portland, no on will remember that era of walrus audio. what will become of walrus audio in the future will be of that vibe and influence from the region where you guys work, like this guys hunting shirt, that's fine I've never been one to judge a person for who they are or want to be, but then again that was what the northwest vibe was all about, letting people be who they want, and yet, you went to oklahoma...

@@walrusaudioeffects interesting then why did I think your company moved from portland to oklahoma, did I mix the brand up with someone else? No I don't think so, I specifically remember your company being based in Portland a few years back but during the pandemic you left for oklahoma.
