The Walt Disney Animation Studios logo is truly iconic. Seeing this logo makes me imagine how perfectly Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy Atom(-> Aston / Adam) would fit into the Disney animation style. Once Tezuka's copyright expires in 2059, it would be fantastic if Disney could produce a 3D animated classic version of Astro Boy, reintroducing this legendary work to the world. Of course, the possibility of a change to the copyright protection period should also be considered!

In my opinion, 30 years after it's copyrighted, and 30 years after the author dies is the best way for me that copyright should have stayed as. And thus, in order to re-do your copyright for the next many years, you would only be able to apply the copyright two more times and then, by the time 90 years have passed, the copyrighted idea has to become public domain.
