Funny when I realized how freakin young the U.S. actually is. Do you realize that the time between 1900 and 2022 is very close to the amount of time between 1776 and 1900? Walt's Mickey has the same vibe as Jim Henson's Kermit. It's not a voice that's been tuned to perfection like their successors, but it feels natural. They could just turn the voice on and talk forever in character without sounding strained after a while.
