I love how he had the personality to downplay things, "the family fortune was wrapped in Snow White.....but it's fine, it all worked out." From the beginning of animation (early 1910s) up until the 1970s, the basic tools of animation remained the same. Pencil, eraser, translucent paper, and cameras to take photographs that would then be transferred to plastic cels to be inked and then photographed again when layered together to make a scene. With their talk of Walt's Animation School, there's a reason why people today often think All Animation is Disney. It's partially true when most of the world's animators studied at his school.
