I got this book for Christmas and loved it! I’m planning on ordering the Mickey Mouse book in the next couple of weeks. Would you say the Mickey Mouse book is like a newer version of The Walt Disney Film Archives book or more of a stand alone title

Fantastic! The Mickey Mouse book is a completely different publication to the Disney Film Archives book -- technically, it could be seen as a follow-up, focusing solely on Mickey, but it could also be seen as a stand-alone title.

What's the difference between the volume that was released in 2018 versus the volume in 2020 with the same book Walt Disney Mickey Mouse that you did a review on. Amazon has the same book 1 copy 2018 at 135. Then the same book with more pages made in 2020 For $25. What's the difference is it worth buying the $25 dollar one thats 2020.or the 2018 one on sale for 135.thanks for ykyr help live your reviews ,have bought many books from your reveiws

That’s great to hear! The 2020 edition of the book is a “compact” version - so think of it as like a “pocket sized edition.” It’s much, MUCH smaller, and more of a proper book size, as apposed to an XXL coffee table size. As a result of the smaller pages, there are more pages. I believe the text is mostly the same (it might be slightly abridged), but it has far less illustrations. I’d say it’s absolutely worth the price point if you want to pay much less and you’re happy with a more compact edition (it’s certainly a pain to get the big one off the shelf and out of its box every time). I don’t own the smaller edition (considering it as it’ll be easier for reference), but I’ve seen it in hand and it’s very nice.
