I can't fathom how different the world would be if Walt had been able to complete his dream of EPCOT. I know he is the only one who could have pulled off the prototype. His life already changed our world so much I can't imagine how much more would have been changed.

Okay. So I have seen your vids before, but your getting so much better as you go. You won me over with " That Jawa stole that woman's droid. " Like the banter between you and your buddy. In fact. If you go with more people in general. You an collect a lot more footage to mine. I digress. Kudos. I think your finding your stride. If you are inclined. I would love to see more updates / info / your opinions about star wars land as it surfaces. I can not say this enough though. You are really getting this together. Bravo.

Their Launch Bay looks awesome! Also, I've had this idea recently that I'd really like them to expand the character of Chewbacca in the next episode of the franchise and spend some time showing him dealing with the loss of his best friend Han and maybe even being tempted to go on some kind of murderous renegade mission to bring down the Empire, but as we all know anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering...! But it would be cool to see him portrayed as a hugely capable warrior hero rather than just a "walking carpet" comic relief…

I LOVE One Man's Dream. Hope it's still there when I go back... Would love to get a better look at it... Maybe take notes. Because all I mainly remember is the film in the theater... and the ride layout for Peter Pan's Flight.

Justin, if you want a replica of pretty much any movie/TV costume and/or prop I suggest that you check out the RPF (The Replica Prop Forum) there you'll be able to find tutorials on how to make your own, buy replicas, or commission someone to make you one. A lot of times the stuff created by the members are better than what you'll find in stores, esp. when compared to things like Rubies Halloween costumes, some of the members will duplicate a prop or costume accurate down to every last nick, scratch, ding, or crooked stitch.

Oh - and I'm glad Disney has decided to release and sell these costumes. I remember the DECADES where owning or if you even dared selling a "stormtrooper" costume could get you sued. I never understood why Lucas' companies restricted such an obvious money-maker. A literal award-winning design, created from the get-go to fit a wide variety of people, with potential customers drooling over the chance to get one... and they said, "no." I got a "black market" suit of armor in the early '90s (and yes, I paid four digits for it), but never could get over the weirdness of no official licensed versions being sold. Just bizarre. Nice to see that idiocy end at last.

Good perspective to have on change, Justin. :) I know lots of people were annoyed at all the Star Wars stuff in Tomorrowland overstaying it's welcome but if it didn't run on so long a lifelong Star Wars fan like me wouldn't have gotten to see it. (And it was amazing.) Even though Frozen is taking over everything now I just think of all the little girls and boys who enjoy the film and must get so excited seeing it everywhere and it makes it all okay to me lol

I'm always kind of confused about how to think of Pixar, since to me it was "just another Silicon Valley startup" where some of my friends worked back in the '90s. Now that it's all famous and whatnot, and most of my friends that worked there have moved on, it's weird to think of it having a whole theme park named after it. Weiiiirrrrrddd....

oh cool story about the Indiana Jones stunt how spectacular i went to disney world back when the magic hat and Narnia meet and greets were in the park (cant remeber the year i was to young) but during the fight scene by the plane they had the actual actor that did the fist fight with Harrison ford there that day.
@michellescalhoun8 жыл бұрын
I like to think that if Walt had lived long enough, EPCOT may have still went in the same direction. With what they did with the park in the 80s, I think if someone brought these plans and concepts to him when he lived, he would have wanted to do it in some form, even if not in the same form it is today. Imagineers of the 80s had his vision.
