I love going to Disney when everyone else thinks it’s “cold”! As someone from MA, 40-60 is like springtime for us! I went last March with my boyfriend. It was about 50 in the morning but would get up to 70 later, so we wore shorts and sandals and sweatshirts! I’ll never forget the security guard, who was wearing a winter coat and gloves, so baffled at how we weren’t freezing our butts off hahaha. When we told him where we were from, he said “Oh wow, this must feel tropical for you!” 😂

I found your tip about midday breaks very interesting, as ive never taken breaks in the parks and I always find the nonstop magic part of the fun. very cool to hear different strategies for the parks though, whatever works for you! I'm so excited to find your vlog!! My husband and I have just started planning our anniversary trip to Disney in December and we are staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter. He has never been to Disney World and I haven't been since I was a kid! Even though its not until December, I have already started working on our itinerary. My plan is to spend the afternoon/night we get there visiting the monorail resorts and ending the night at Ohana for dinner and then watching the fireworks from the beach! I'm so excited about spending the day in Epcot with my husband b/c I know he will love it, but I'm having the hardest time deciding where to eat! Now, I'm thinking I might follow your lead and eat in the French pavilion! We are also soo excited about Animal Kingdom and I planned to eat bfast at Tusker House. I hope you and your husband have the best time!! :) In Epcot, Les Chefs de France is fantastic (where we went), as is Le Cellier (in Canada pavilion), and Teppan Edo (Japan). We love all three! Fun fact for Haunted Mansion....there were 2 main Imagineers for this ride and one wanted it to be spooky and scary, the other wanted fun and lively. That's why the music is different. The ballroom is the "middle point" where it goes from one imagineers to the other with the music.

I love this video!!! I completely agree about taking breaks. It's the best way to keep your energy up at the parks. There's nothing worse than running yourself down and having that "glazed over" feeling by the end of the night. I leave for Disney World in 16 days! I am soaking this all in and getting super excited!! We're eating at Chef's De France our first night, I can't wait to taste it! P.s. Your hubby in front of Haunted Mansion made me laugh out loud! You can really see how much he enjoys that ride

It's totally possible to stay all day in the parks, it's what I do everytime I go. There's no way I'm having a break! So yeah, I encourage you because it's possible (and worth it!!). Great vlog!

So true story, the first time my sister and I went back to Disney as adults we had 5 am flight and then went straight to magic kingdom and stayed till parks close at 11pm. Then we did 1 more days of Disney to get in all we could (then 2 days at universal). We tried to recreate this energy level two years later where we went Disney 4 days and universal 2 days, and after the 3rd day of Disney with 16 hours day we were dying. Next time we go longer and build in day breaks or do a park hopper and do less each day. Too old for all that 😅

We go often! We Just ate in the Les Chefs De France a couple weeks ago! It was sooo good! Also, since you liked the Frozen ride, which is neat, you should definitely go see the frozen show in Hollywood Studios! I have a little clip of it, but it is amazing to see. How exciting! As far as clothing, layers were key for us. I wore jeans, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt almost everyday and my husband wore a variation of that. We added and removed layers as needed throughout the days. We loved January weather--cool and sunny!

Thanks so much for watching! In MK, we went to Be Our Guest for our pre-opening breakfast reservations. Other options are Cinderella's Royal Table and Crystal Palace. Only Crystal Palace is affected by the new welcome show as far as not being past the barriers before park entry, if that makes sense. I have to try the peach cold brew...that sounds fabulous! xo

Hi, just a comment on your advice about taking breaks mid-dayish. I'm over 60 and the last time i was there with my wife (Oct/Nov 2016) we were in the parks from open until close every day bar one and that one we did 8am to 8pm. Twice we did 8am to 12am all without going back to the hotel. i agree that it is advisable for families with small children but for adults and families with teenagers its not necessary. Glad you had a great time though :-)

It's certainly a matter of preference. For me and my husband, a midday break is 100% necessary! Not only can I not stay awake, happy, and on my feet for 12+ hours, I can't handle the high stimulation of the parks for that long. Thanks for watching!

I totally agree! My boyfriend and I always go from park open-close. If we go during a season where the parks close earlier, we'd use that time to visit Disney Springs. Then again, it's probably because we're in our mid-20s and are at peak energy level, hahaha, so seriously, good for you and your wife! I hope that I can be as energetic and still be going to Disney World when I'm in my 60s (my dad's in his 60s and he's already suffering from all the pains and aches that come with age). Also, our feet never hurt or get tired when we wear comfortable shoes, but we could just be lucky because we've never really had any foot problems... and according to my iPhone health app, we walked about 10 miles each day while there. Like my boyfriend says, if you wanna lose weight, go to Disney World! 😂

When you said no one can stay up for like 12 hours straight ive done 24 hours lol for when i graduated highschool. We had grad then a senior party after which lasted alll night and all morning😰😂😂
