I am so sorry ya'll had to cancel your trip. We're your parents able to get a refund for their flights? All 3 of my kids have had the flu. I'm in Oklahoma and I was told we're #1 for the flu right now. It has been a nightmare! Our district even closed 2 days because they had so many kids and teachers out. Glad everyone is on the mend!

So sorry that Riley is sick. I got it in October and I figured out something that may or may not be helpful-I kept getting sick way after I felt like I should, especially at night. And I figured out that it triggered some GERD so I started on OTC heartburn medication and it helped me immensely!

The mailbox will likely be too small. I work for an elementary school district, and kids today give their Valentine plus either a small stickers and candy. Most kids bring a brown bag and carry them all home. But it was a very cute little mailbox.

I 100% agree with you about books being too heavy sometimes. I love historical fiction and it seems they are always killing off all of the characters and it is too much for me. My guilty pleasure is young adult fiction because it isn't usually so heavy.

I still have Daisy Jones and the Six on my TBR list but in keeping with the 70s theme, I highly highly recommend Mary Jane!! It was one of my top favourite reads of 2024. A definite palate cleanser if you're ever in need of a lighter read.

Love the video! Quick question- when you make more than one loaf at a time, do you use multiple Dutch ovens? Or when one loaf comes out of the oven, do you then take the next one out of the fridge, score it and put back in the oven at 500 degrees?

Wood fireplace - my husband would like to convert our electric fireplace to wood. However, I'm concerned that the whole house will smell like firewood. Do you find that that is the case? Love the new products! Also, thanks for sharing about Quince. I bought some sweaters for myself and daughters for Christmas and we were all happy with them. I also bought my daughter a carry-on and love that as well. I did want to say something about the 5 hour energy. Just please look at the "other ingredients" and research them a bit. I know you like to stay as healthy as possible and the ingredients in that product may be contradicting your health goals. (sucralose, aritficial flavors & sodium benzoate). I say this as someone who also chooses with pros and cons and compromise on some things as well. I consume plenty of things that are not great for me. But sucralose and sodium benzoate are a hard no for me. Worth researching them a bit. I really just added this comment because I care. No judgement at all.
