Awesome and everyone can relate to the methadone clinic these days.speaking of spit backs. In jail inmates punch other inmates in the stomach after they drink their methadone and strain it through a pillow case in a bucket ...so I hear.Walter seemed like such a down to earth guy not to mention a genius guitarist bassist and songwriter. Yes, Dolophine was the brand name of the first commercially available mass-produced pharmaceutical methadone product produced by Eli Lilly Company in i think the year 1947. Since the chemical was first synthesized in Germany during the 2nd World War, rumors quickly began spreading that "Dolophine" was a subtle nod to Hitler... "a-DOLPH Hitler". These rumors persisted all the way through the 1970s or then abouts, despite the fact that the term was actually derived from the Latin word for pain, "dolor".

Known mostly for Steely Dan obv, Walter was also a great producer of other artists like China Crisis and Rickee Lee Jones and he produced Donald's Kamiriakad album.
