Walter is a great reminder of the great comany builder motto - KISS. He brings the technicaleeze to down to the the very understandable that brings the layman to the subject matter that they shied away from in the past.

21:47 Walter Isaacson said, right to the Googlers' faces: "Smart people are a dime a dozen, and they don't really amount to much." 🤣 The clueless Googlers nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Mensa, not having recovered from its fit of apoplexy, hasn't yet responded to a request for comment.

More against the book than the summary. This book is written by a non-scientist for non-scientist readers. It talks about the people, rather than the Crispr science. It isn't a book for a scientist (but not a life-scientist,) trying to understand the Crispr technology.

Why do you sensor conservatives?

Issacson has always censored republicans, especially in his days at CNN in 2001 and 2003, of course the days after 911 and up to W.Bush’s illegal war crimes against Iraq. I’m not judging him I’m just pointing out what he did when he ran CNN.
