Mike in BCS is very smart, calculated and has a lot of experience but this may be way he wouldn’t think much of a chemistry teacher and why walt always got the best of him. Walt simply is a genius with a dangerous ego.

At the end Mike made a lot of mistakes. Not trusting Saul was one of them. Even though it made sense why. His mistake with Walt is attacking Walt where it hurts most his pride. mike in bb is much sloppier and careless compared to mike in bcs. in bcs, he still has his morals and tries to do the right thing to help his guilt of failing his son, but after the conversation he has with papa varga at the end of the show, mike gives up on trying to be better. be adopts the ugly side of him and thinks himself the same as gus. throughout breaking bad he's pretty much a dead man walking, a shell of his former self

You know what makes it worse in context than just dying, it's trying to die in peace when the guy that just shot you out of fragile ego apologies because he realizes the reason he even went after you was to kill your own guys. @@BlueLikeWoah Look at his body language and reaction when he shot Mike, his murder of Mike was not premeditated. What he wanted was the names of his men but he didn’t originally plan to kill Mike since he only took the gun just in case things went south. He even said sorry too, which is not something Walter is used to saying genuinely. He genuinely apologizes to Mike for shooting him and dooming him to die. He does care that he killed Mike, he feels emotional about it. If he didn’t regret it at all then he would have either shot Mike one last time without apologizing or he would left Mike to die while gloating to him. Which would be in line with him since his ego and pride reaches it’s limit in Season 5.
@BlueLikeWoah6 ай бұрын
@@mr.nobody2858 Walt's just doing his usual "act shocked and helpless" routine. And he did leave Mike to die. He hunted him down specifically to make sure he was dead and he waited until he died. There's a zero percent change he would have let Mike leave when that would have resulted in Mike killing Walter later for offing those guys. It's why he took the gun out of the bag before he turned up there. His intention was to get the names and kill Mike.
