Die Gruppe B leutete eine neue Âra ein. Audi entwickelte ein wildes Rallye Tier, den S1 und Walter holte das was möglich war aus diesem Tier heraus. Eine Kombination für die Ewigkeit, welche Geschichte schrieb. Danke Walter.

Браво Рёр, я называю эту машину Мишель, я первый раз увидел этот автомобиль на чемпионате в Америке, этим монстром управляла девушка, рвала всех как тузик грелку, и почему-то я стал называть этот авто Мишель. Ich weiß ja nicht was an dem Auto so schnell sein soll. Vor allem Röhrl hat damit wenig gewonnen. Der S1 war kopflastig kaum genau steuerbar in Kurven, mußte ständig mit Bremse und Gas gleichzeitig gefahren werden usw. Spektakulär ja, Sound cool aber die Peugeot S16 und Lancia Delta S4 waren deutlich überlegen.
