Was working as a stage hand at the Wharf at Tavistock in devon. i tell you what people the sound that came out of that mans guitar during sound check was unreal he played through this huge Mesa Boogie stack with virtually no pedals best guitar sound i've ever heard was a fantastic night ! :).

Saw him on televion in 1986 with the Bluesbreakers. I was totally floored. He has not changed since then. Today I feel that he lacks depth in his playing though being proficient on guitar.
