I also love his music. He is one of the few artists who can actually sound exactly the same or better live than in studio. I love when he played Lovin' Machine, Pencil Full of Lead and 10/10 on Jools Holland Hootenanny. Yous should check it out if you haven't yet, its great.

He can speak English. He's from Scotland, which is just above England. HE'S SPEAKING ENGLISH IN THE INTERVIEW. He just has a heavy Scottish accent.

he can idiot, he writes his own songs and produced his own album "Sunny Side Up" I think he qualifies as an English speaker. His accent is very strong and you have difficulty understanding him because he's Scottish...and because its part of who he is.

I know he is speaking English, but he's accent makes it hard for people from other English speaking countries/regions/areas to understand when he speaks so fast! I know it's English, it just isn't very "Proper" :p

Yeah, posted this comment a year ago. I like Paolo's music, was just making fun of his accent. Sadly though, most people who comment here seem to be a bit...witless, and find it necessary to either be a grammar Nazi or a Sour Sally. But you are right, this is a youtube comments section. What more could I expect from the usual rabble of youtube commentators. Sigh.
