Walther PDP Match vs CZ Shadow 2 Review

The ejection pattern on the CZ is freaking perfect. Stout and consistent

Where the Shadow 2 truly shines is in competition, shooting stages. Most people (myself included) won't have perfect technique throughout a long match. The CZ is very forgiving in that regard. Guns with a higher bore axis tend to be less so. That said, for the vast majority of people, training eill be the deciding factor. Someone who regularly trains and wants to improve will do better than someone who shoots a couple of times per month, regardless of what guns they choose.

I would choose the shadow 2 because of the price difference. The PDP match is an awesome pistol but it's overpriced. The pdp match should be $1,300 dollars at the most. The pdp match should come with better sights for what you're paying. That's my opinion..

I think for what you get on the PDP Match SF: if you option out a CZ shadow 2 with the same options, they’re around the same price. I went to build a S2 with a flat ACU shadow trigger and a magwell: $1800+. I paid $1840 before tax for the PDP. All I did to it was swap out the guide rod and recoil spring and it shoots flatter and softer than a S2. 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@Vante512 Dude the shadow 2 is only $950 dollars on grabagun and it's often on sale for a thousand dollars. The price goes up and down.

@Shenmue06 Hell yea I just got one for 1300 but I like new firearms the ones on grabagun say it’s been shot over 5k times somebody bought one for 800 at the gun and knife show

Add a ZRTS Long stroke guide rod to that PDP Match SF and watch how FAST you drop that shadow 2 😂

What is the advantage to adding the long stroke guide rod ?

@@clappers1233 softer recoil impulse. Faster follow up shots. A lot more pleasant to shoot. Not that it matters in a steel gun but the less recoil: the better
