I love my Bond gun!!! Mine's in stainless steel, you couldn't find a blued one for love nor money back when I bought mine. All I've ever shot out of it are FMJs. It's not for home Defense (I have a Glock 17, a Benelli Super 90, and an AR for that), and I don't carry it (I have a P365 for that) and it shoots fine for plinking at cans and steel silhouettes. I get that same eye fatigue when using a scope (I was born in '69, so I feel ya). Love the videos, keep 'em coming.

Underwood uses solid copper. I don’t think they obturate when fired so your bore may be a touch oversized. Either Shooting the Bull or TNOutdoors9 did 380 testing years ago and the Hornady Critical Defense was the only 380 that had good penetration and expansion. Because the 380 is what it is, a lot of folks just carry FMJ.

Good video Chris. I have a "Poor man's PPK" Bersa 380 Thunder - because I'm a cheapskate.
@Just1American19663 ай бұрын
I had a PPK/S many years ago as a BU/OD gun. It always shot well and was an excellent piece for its time (or even today). I sold it when a bit light on funds. Years later, I bought the Bersa to replace it. Though a tick thicker and harder to conceal, the Bersa is by far the better shooter.

@chrisevansgunshorsesranchi699 It could be due to a better fit in my hand. Seriously, I was amazed when I first got it out. Also, I tried everything to get it to malfunction, using old and new ammunition together, mixed bullet-types, old aluminum-cased crap, etc. I even tried limp-wristing the gun. It just ran and ran. I stopped carrying it after a couple of years when I happened upon a Kel-Tec PF9 for a good price (back in 2010). The Kel-Tec is easier to carry, but a much harsher pistol in hand. Haven't carried that, either, for quite a while, as other guns keep coming and going. ;-)

Interarms made yours in Virginia under license from Walther. The ones made by S&W had an extended grip tang and were marked Smith & Wesson.

I just love your videos ! I don’t trust any hollow points in my PPK they jam and don’t even open in ballistic gel for the most part I carry Winchester white box works perfectly and the gun was not designed for hollow points

I carry a 380 pretty much every day. Glock 42 and Ruger lcp 2, great little carry guns. Love my Beretta tomcat too. Mouse guns are fun. I've had a Walther ppks in 22 for many years. Nice little gun. Also have a Walther TPH. The TPH gives me hammer bite though.

I have an interarms ppk=s in stainless steel and I live it. As for hollowpoints I've had 100% reliability with Hornady Critical Defense and Federal Punch with big gaping hollowpoints. Of course ditto for PMC FMJ ammo. I have no problem keeping all shots on a steel torso at 20 yds.

I went to a lot of autopsy's. .380 FMJ was the predominant caliber we dug out. I think between .380 costing double what 9 does and the invention of the Hellcat and 365, .380 is dead in the water.
