It's the mag spring that causes it not to feed on a full mag. Fully load it and let them sit for a week.

After you had that out of battery detonation with Armscor, I had one Friday with the 50grain Federal bulk ammo. Mine did not squib and the tool was fine, but I am not happy about it. I now know of two of these pistols that has experienced it, with different ammo, I am concerned.🤷♂

Really hope that thing smooths out for you. My fav.22 is a double stack 1911 in 22TCM. Bought mine yrs ago when Armscor called it the 22 MicroMag. Also has a 9mm barrel. Its a hoot & louder than God. Paul Harrell had problems with his but at the time there was a bunch of bad ammo on the market. Mine is flawless. I also have the rifle & at just under 3000fps its a squirrel exploder. Takes the same mag as the pistol. Good luck with the Walther, they sure fit my hand nicely.

Glad you're testing it and not me. It should just work! 22 Mag costs more then cheap 9mm? Hollow points also failed in the gel etc etc.

I'm a retired infantryman and it was SOP for us to load our magazines to two less than the maximum capacity. The increased pressure from the magazines spring is just enough to slow the slide. In truth, the need for 78 round magazines is far less than the average gun buyer believes. Towards the end, it probably was a matter of cleaning. Rimfire is filthy and more sensitive to dirt than centerfire.

Galloway precision make a full metal recoil assembly that has a 10 percent lighter spring that should help with the optic on it
@theturkeysopinionКүн бұрын
Thank you!👍👍👍🦃👊
@recoilrob324Күн бұрын
The red dot added some weight to the slide and combined with the full mag compressing the spring tight against the slide....might be why it's failing on the first couple shots to feed.
@theturkeysopinionКүн бұрын
Hmm🤔 Sounds like that might be a truth. Ill have to mess with it optic free. Darn it, its so zeroed lol. Thanks for the comment👍🦃👊

@@theturkeysopinionOr just underfill the magazines a few rounds. May be enough to let it run.
@William-n1b10 сағат бұрын
Wondering if the additional weight of the red dot, combined with the full mag is causing the failure to feed issue.
@TheLoneRanger74523 сағат бұрын
Looks like you're about 20 ft out from target, I'd say that's a very good group 2x . Brand new ..may take some time to be reliable, rim fire always gonna have some issues, give it more time and see how it goes. But it is accurate so far . The only thing like it is Keltec P-30 22WMR . Nice job. Do a follow up video, I'll be watching.

Does the malfunctioning happen on full mags? Or partial mag? Springs in the mags could be the problem or the follower is sticking near the bottom then you had it malfunction on a short loaded mag could it be recoil spring to high a poundage not letting the slide move far enough back to pick up the next round , or it's getting dirty after 25 rounds
@theturkeysopinionКүн бұрын
Yeah, mostly full but then at the end was on a partial. Ill have to try without the optic🤔👍🦃👊

I wish they made a reliable gun in 22 wmr. I think the S&W appears to be reliable. Don’t know why these are so hard. Gun companies have made great strides in the last couple of years with 22 lr pistols. Why can’t they do it with 22wmr. You have to get this fixed before the snow melts though! 😂
