Walthers Ho Scale 1967 Great Northern "Big Sky" Empire Builder

After 1967, The GN Empire Builder decided to change up the paint scheme to match the skies as the train travel along beautiful scenery in the great blue sky. So thus the nickname "Big Sky" Blue was born. This train attracted all the attention it needed because of the special paint dawned. Please enjoy this special version of Walthers Great Northern that you don't see many railroaders model! When you gotta go great, go great northern!

Great video of a great train from the Great Northern Railroad in my favorite color & on my most favorite pre merger railroad with my most favorite railroad emblem of Rocky the goat of the Great Northern Railroad. The Empire Builder is one train I have the desire to ride on someday.

I like how SP and ATSF get shit for "shouldn't paint so fast" meanwhile GN just gets away with introducing a completely new scheme three years before a planned merger.
