@SortedFood just reviewed this on their channel, trying to use it on a stand mixer and grinding it straight into the mold. I'm wondering if they used it improperly because it created really dense patties and very slowly. Looks great in your video though!

Had to search for it as well 😂

Yeah, this is definitely a case of Sorted not using it properly. Can still understand the concern about it being too dense possibly, but the actual use of it was just very poor.

I wonder since they had an issue with the grinder dye size, maybe they should have just removed it

While this unit will work with pretty much any stuffer or grinder, we always recommend using with a stuffer for the best results. Thanks for checking us out!

Recently started looking for a new hobby and came across Walton's website. Blew me away with how in depth that site goes for anything but the meat like they say. Then I found this KZbin channel and yeah I found my new home. John explains everything so clearly and fully on everything Waltons'. Told my wife here is my Christmas list: Quick patty maker, Sausage stuffer, Vacuum sealer and casings. Thank you for providing this channel.

I've bought tons of your equipment including the 30lb electric stuffer last year. Out of everything I've bought this one is my least favorite. Not because of how it functions, but because I feel like the quality is not there for the price. It seems to be made of cheap plastic. Neither of the two main pieces of this contraption are solid plastic either. They are two piece construction and screwed together. This is seen at 00:45 when you look at the top of the screen, also at 01:34 looking at the bottom left edge of the sliding piece. This traps water inside which is a sanitation issue. These pieces should be made from a solid piece of plastic or starboard. It does work well though...

This unit makes patties that are roughly 1/3 of a pound, so approximately 5.3 ounces.

I can buy a lot of frozen burgers for $65. Good idea, but priced out of the market.

I can’t afford it ?? It’s a waste of money , you can do a much better job by hand , and then washing that stuffer is a nightmare ( you still need to by the stuffer in order to use that burger maker
