The Plano Guide Series Tackle Bags are a must have for any angler this upcoming season. Plano offers them in 3 different sizes (3500, 3600, and 3700) so one of them is bound to fit your fishing style and tackle sizes. Each tackle bag comes loaded with 5 or 6 customizable tackle trays, a front pocket with ample storage for your pliers, tape measurer, and scale, an expandable mesh pocket on the back, two padded side pockets, a molded top with an elastic tie down for easy access, and a clear zippered pocket under the top cover. These bags also feature a rugged waterproof bottom to protect your investments and keep your gear dry. Oh and did I mention that these tackle bags took home an ICast 2013 Award for Best Tackle Management product.

+Bill Barbee Agreed! Which size do you have? The 3500, 3600 or 3700? I would love the 3700 but the 3600 boxes fit in my ice fishing bag, kayak bag and this one so they can be swapped throughout.

Can you do a walk through of your baits and lures and how you organize them?

Will Massey I organize my tackle by application so I have a box for: Topwater, Deep Diving Cranks, Shallow/Medium Cranks, Rattletraps/Chatterbaits, Spinnerbaits/Buzzbaits, Jigs/Swim Jigs, and one box filled with hooks/weights/terminal tackle. Then I carry all my soft plastics inside a soft sided bag (also separated by type: trailers, creatures, flukes, swimbaits, senkos, worms, soft plastic frogs, etc.).

thats sick i want one, theres a bass pro shops in toronto, which is a 45 minute drive south of me, so hopefully they have them there

A trip to a Bass Pro is never wasted time but to ensure they have them - you could always order online and have the 'Ship to Store' and you could pick it up when your drive down there. OR last time I checked they were the cheapest on Tackle Warehouse and even included Free Shipping!

Thanks Johnny! I love mine. I've put it through the ringer this season and it's held up great. My Ocean Kayak Trident 11 has a space behind the seat where I found a soft sided tackle bag fits perfect. That's the reason I went with the 3600 and not the 3700 - my soft sided Yak bag is the 3600 size so I just grab 3 or 4 tackle trays from my Plano, pop them in my Yak bag and go. If not for that I would have went with the Plano 3700 - you can fit a TON of stuff in that one.

My 3600 should be arriving any second. Been staring out the window for the UPS man for what seems like an eternity. . I prefer the thorough review, rather than an "icast" version. Thanks again, you sold me on it.

Is this bag good for saltwater fishing? The marketing material doesn't say anything about water resistant material or rust resistant zippers, etc.

1SouthernYankee That is a very good question! I'm not sure about that as I've used it in MN and CO and am pretty unfamiliar with saltwater and how it breaks down lures/boxes. I would give Plano Customer Service a call and ask them. They've been helpful for me in the past.

Yes, the boxes range in size from small (3500) to large (3700). The video is showing the middle sized option (3600). The 3700 series bag will be able to hold a ton of tackle!

I picked mine up at Bass Pro Shops but if there isn't a big box store near you, you can get them on Tackle Warehouse (for a few bucks cheaper AND free shipping).
