She's good but he is .....enhhhhhh. The thing is i have seen him in so many summer theater productions -- he is the "go-to" Jesus-type that they get when nobody else is available or when the guy they really want is on a bender or needs to go into rehab. He's sweet, attractive, dependable and his voice and acting are competent but ....again I say "enhhhhhh." I think I've seen him play enough Jesus Christs/Godspells/Che Guevaras/Mariuses/and J-j-j-j-josephs (from Amazing Technical Dreamcoat) to last me an eternity.

Kathy Hickman Eric Kunze is phenomenal. I would definitely say this isn't one of his stronger performances- but it's a rarity. I was in Whistle Down the Wind with him back in 2008 and he just astounded every single person working on the show. He is a powerhouse with an amazing voice and stage presence. I understand he might not be your cup of tea, which is totally fine, but I feel like he may deserve better than "ehhhh".

Love this choreography. I prefer this over the choreography in the Broadway revival.

I agree! The movie dancing was too friendly. I think this song calls for some animosity in the body language.

I love Patti Lupone, but I have to admit that Julia Murney works better in this role. She's got the perfect mixture of hardness and shine in her voice.

Lovely. Just with that lighting, etc. I would have preferred a lighter color dress.

I'm not sure if I like Che being Che Guevara, as opposed to a more anonymous narrator. It works for this song given the lyrics, but overall I'm not so sure.

Che should be Che..He grew up under Peronism.

It actually doesnt make sense for the che to be the che guevara. I aslo rather the anonymous narrator just cause is more real. Che wasnt that close to relevant in that time, he didnt live in the same place, not even close to eva for most things. Yes same country for some time, but he also flew out. Also the communist party in Argentina supports the peronist party so it doesnt make sense for the che guevara to be so against peronism as the narrator is

@@dzioba6889 It has always been hinted that Che was Che Guevara. They were in Argentina around the same time. A failed Marxist who was active, and a successful actress to President's wife who didn't really do anything. I think it is quite an interesting perspective.

@@EvilsDeathAzul bro, historically doesn't make sense. And i think evita as more of a fictional tale of an actress who met a president cause its not as acurate. Yes some data is right but i just dont buy it. I like better eva: un musical argentino with nacha guevara. Signed, an argentinian, who studied peronism since they were 15 years old (ahre)
