The callbacks to hypersomnia tho! George believed xd just wanted to impress him, but xd seems to be looking for genuine acceptance here. So when George wrote him off as insincere, xd became disillusioned. Plus, this back and forth between George and a form of dream shows how sapnap misread George when he told dream in best of three that George would have nothing to say to him. Your trio of angst songs for the c!dteam is absolutely phenomenal, everything fits so well together! It’s always fascinating to see your interpretations of how the c!dteam view each other, and every single one of your songs is such a banger. This one especially blew me away. Keep up the amazing work!

Theory: DreamXD is normally controlled by C! Dream. Since all of the times dreamxd has met gogy are in his sleep, C!dream can probably only control DreamXD when gogs is sleeping (That's why dreamxd is almost always there with gogy in his sleep but never really talks to him when he's awake which I don't blame him for since gogs can't take a break from sleeping lmao) !Dream misses his friends, especially George,and because of obvious reasons can't meet anyone. So he's using the god and his powers to indirectly talk to George. Dream may also control XD when he's asleep in the prison, since sleep us technically the only time when he could finally be happy, and do his small funny shenanigans with his friends again. Honestly the C!dnf is pretty complex and sad, hate c!Dream or love him, you gotta admit, you do feel sort of bad for him (I do :{) But the song is amazing and vv cool too!! Gets more into their Canon struggles and relationships and the vocals are FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!! Loved this :'D

I'm sosososo grateful for this, you're so underrated. At first I didn't feel anything special about this but then the whole entire vibe of the song got to me and it literally gives me chills. It really represents how XD a god who's cold and sometimes arrogant became attached to a mortal and how he became too protective and attached that he literally does anything he asks. Edit: his attachment went as far as copying both the voice and look of one of the person he loves the most's greatest friends.
