I really like the mix of bass and lead, the delicate volume changes, and flams to draw more emotion out of the notes. I got visions of a slow walk in a moonlit garden from this. Really nice, Amy.

🎼 HOLY CRAP Amy! That's on a completely different level of beautiful. Simple, and elegant. Parts of it brought Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata to mind. I have said this before, and I'm sure this won't be the last time I say it. You are a genius. WOW!!!🙏🙏🙏

@AmyNaylorMusic3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rene 😊 I'm not sure what you're asking, do you mean each handpan, or the notes I'm playing? The handpan in my lap is F low pygmy, the one next to me is D Kurd

Beautiful piece. You make playing look so effortless. It seems like I really have to thump my pan to get the same kind of sound out. What is the difference other than the pan perhaps?
@AmyNaylorMusic3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Every pan sounds different. This, being stainless, has a very long sustain naturally. But you shouldn't have to thump. It's all in the dexterity of your fingers. Get that strike and bounce consistent, find the sweet spot in each note that rings the best, and it'll sing ☺️ Check out my single stroke roll video and you can feel how gentle you can be with it 😁
