Trick Tip: The First Flip Trick that Any Skater Should Learn

Amazing tutorial. I’m an old, not very good, skater and about to teach my kids, and I learnt through years of trial and error, falling off a lot and people teaching me on the fly. I was stumped as to where to start with skating and this helped me rethink it. It never even occurred to me back when I started to even start on grass! I went straight to falling off at my local skate park and giving myself twisted ankles and skinned arms!

The video is great, but I’ve already mastered this step. I’m now focusing on getting the hang of a freestyle board. Huge shoutout to Mike Osterman for his incredible boards. My new freestyle board is fantastic-I highly recommend it to everyone.

Just wondering if anyone has done variations of this: pancake flip to crossfoot, one-footed pancake flip, pancake flip varial...? Hmmmmmmmmmm.
