The set up and take down must be exhausting! Your table is always one of the best if not the beat of the show! Keep the video's coming as they are always entertaining for us in the obsession/hobby!

What a great video. I really enjoyed the interview with Mr. John Davis. It’s great to know that he is having success with taking over Johnson Reference Books. That was some big shoes to fill. Thank you Tom and Rob for a great video.

I'd get nervous every time I boxed up all that Allach for every show, all the travel back and forth, the looky loos at the show potentially doing something crazy and damaging them. Great video, by the way. Safe travels, always , Mr Wittmann and Ob.

In the last 10 years, ww2 stuff has become very collectible and expensive, iv been collecting for about 45 years, and lately, iv seen lots of fakes, especially ww2 German stuff, so its very very important to buy from trusted dealers, Tom can be trusted 100% , i use to have a very collectible ww2 German iron cross that turned out to be fake ( they're getting better at faking stuff) thanks to mr.Tom Wittmann for helping with that.

I drove 4 hours one way just to find out that I missed the show because the 22nd was not a show day but vender pack up day and whoever puts the dates on the website should not say in big text 19-22 if it’s not open to the public all of those days so an 8 hour drive and $100 in gas all for nothing. Not everyone has the same off days from work that everyone else has and I was really excited to go because I have been having a very bad year

I’m fairly convinced that the Goebbels tray is a Bormann pattern piece someone added the JG to… I think I have seen that on an auction before, and there is slightly smaller set of initials above the more prominent ones… Hardly something you would expect the number three man in the Reich to have in his personal possession 😟
@joeguzman35583 ай бұрын
I agree with you 100% ,you can see that from across the table. It just doesn't match, and it looks like it was engraved yesterday ,the problem with that is can you trust the rest of the stuff in the table.

What is date of show in 2025
@joeguzman35583 ай бұрын
The J G plate it probably added later, the entire plate is all scratched up except for the initials , it just doesn't fit.

I’m sorry to say, Barry you don’t own an SA shirt mate. I put two of those into Ratisbon’s Auction about a year ago and they are definitely not original! They are nicely done though and were made in Eastern Europe just over a I hate 10 years ago! The tags are made out of paper which they shouldn’t be and they shouldn’t be stapled into the shirt either. They should be triangular in shape and should have a metal button punched through the centre seam! Normally they rust after a while, I bought several from the Dave Delich auction that just finished I then use the originals as templates for the copies. But I don’t sell the copies as originals they are sold as Museum reproductions! I’m sorry mate but I had to let you know in case you try and sell them as original! I don’t know how much you paid for it but I sell them for about £250 each with bags thrown in!

28:32 VERY nice luger. That luger isn't commercial because it has "Germany" stamped on it, it's commercial because of the "N" marking with a crown over it. That was DWM's mark for lugers made available to the public for purchase. It's marked "Germany" as a requirement to import it into the US. There are many lugers that are military, police, and commercial that have that "Germany" stamp. My military 1917 DWM has it as well, but only on the gun, not the magazine. My magazine also has the original wooden bottom like this one before they switched over to making them in aluminum for durability.
