Speaking of Roanoke a place I’m familiar with.. the Roanoke civic center disallowed gun shows so I’m sure no militaria either.. the city went pretty woke sadly. I remember some good gun shows as a kid there. Salem CC is close by but not the largest..🤷🏻♂️ The times we live in.

Catching up on episodes! Thanks Ob for filming these. Besides seeing the amazing stuff y’all get, hearing your dad’s knowledge is the other thing that brings people to these videos. And you’re sharing with the world the knowledge he has accrued over decades in this hobby and documenting it is super important. He’s probably forgotten more than most will ever learn. 😂 love you guys 🎉❤

I guess you have so many vets left because you arrived 3 years late😊. We have one battle of Britain veteran left, I had the pleasure to meet many BOB vets, and it will be a sad day when the last one leaves us.

Interesting to hear your comments on collecting, My father was Normandy veteran and one of the first liberators of Belesen. He married my mother from Hannover who lost her intended on the Russian front. Yes history must not be forgotten. But making money from the millions who died doesn't sit right with me. No disrespect to your channel and I look forward to your next video.

No disrespect but could not disagree with you more. Making money is what all wars are about before and after they happen.

Glad to see you back, always enjoy your videos whilst having a drink along with you. Sadly sold my collection last year and regret not sending it you. It included a named and researched double decal transitional SS helmet. The only thing I kept was my grandmother's Mothers Cross which I gave to my daughter to keep in the family.

For our foreign viewers if you're wondering why so many collectors in the states are applauding the Trump win it's for multiple reasons which have saved the country and probably the world from nuclear catastrophe, but more specifically here we're talking about the continuation of our collecting hobby. It's very likely a Harris government would have adopted a ban on German militaria sales and trades, adopting it from Australia. Kamala Harris had already discussed a mandatory buy back of guns like Australia had done.

Tom; That book with pictures of the SS man, if any of those photos show any part of a concentration/ death camp and have yet to be.documented can be worth a good piece of mone as their are many historical societies looking for them. I’d be interested to know what you got for the booklet with all the pictures of Herman Goring’s in it. I’ve heard the key is to get the photos copywrited.

I’m sorry to say, Barry you don’t own an SA shirt mate. I put two of those into Ratisbon’s Auction about a year ago and they are definitely not original! They are nicely done though and were made in Eastern Europe just over a I hate 10 years ago! The tags are made out of paper which they shouldn’t be and they shouldn’t be stapled into the shirt either. They should be triangular in shape and should have a metal button punched through the centre seam! Normally they rust after a while, I bought several from the Dave Delich auction that just finished I then use the originals as templates for the copies. But I don’t sell the copies as originals they are sold as Museum reproductions! I’m sorry mate but I had to let you know in case you try and sell them as original! I don’t know how much you paid for it but I sell them for about £250 each with bags thrown in!
