Yes, I agree with the others, awesome intro. But I wanted to say also I really like your new format of twiddling the knobs while a looped track plays. I think you have developed an excellent way to show off the features. A step above other reviews that are out there. I hope the manufacturers appreciate what you are doing for them. The combo of the first tier music and the excellent display of product makes you stand out.

I love the idea of playing a loop through it to show the adjustments in real time. Great way to show just what a pedal is capable of and give direct comparisons of it's different modes. Awesome demo as always, just picked mine up the other day and I'm super happy with it. Sounds great through my NT50

you could plug into a 4 day old subway roll and make it sound amazing Pete, as always amazing demo, the music you put together for each demo is so far above whats even required to demo the gear it shows your commitment to excellence and every intro you dream up is just amazing i so cant wait to hear this new album im betting its going to be very special....iknow your not planning to do any lesson courses etc but i sure would love to see a video one day on your process as you create these little masterpieces and id love to know more about how you create your lead solos, preffered modes and scales etc...

Chris Vernon thanks! I have been busting ass this week. This one was done in 1 day. I can do one of these in 8-10 hrs realistically. Takes a minute to write a track, work up bass/drums, video good performances, get good tones etc and then mix/edit video (Tanya the easy part). Also to do the talking bits takes a minute- to figure out what to say, I never follow a script or anything..

Great demo as usual, Pete.Phantastic accurate playing! But you also take into account alot what we end users want or need to know about a specific product. The EQ controls on this pedal work great, but I feel - and I'm probably not the only one here - that the Vintage/Modern switch is just a "muffler" and the Gain/Boost switch has almost no effect. This is not your fault, of course. Happy new year, Pete, am looking forward to many new exciting demo videos from you in 2022!

I've been struggling to hear a difference about the boost modes too. It does add drive but can't hear a volume boost in either mode... Is it supposed to be like that or could it be a faulty unit?

The BOOST mode on this unit def does give a significant volume leap for solos compared to the GAIN mode - more than most other pedals with boost function too- however: I dont think I will ever get rid of my BOSS GE7 equalizer pedal for giving me a super transparent, SUPER LOUD + clean boost right after my Dirty Shirley pedal for that huge jump in volume for solos. There's just no comparison.

Hi Pete, I have a question. You have used many guitar pedals, which one do you recommend? I'm looking for the tone of a JMP Superlead, and I'm between these two pedals: Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe V2 Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret MKIII Which do you think is closer to the tone of a JMP Supelead of the early 70s? Telling that I will connect it to a Marshall DSL20CR combo, with a rola-celestion g12m25

Happy with My V1 (non deluxe) 1button Pinnacle, gives me the Tone on top of everything else modded to death in my Rig (#2) LOL ... Get more with the Deluxe & New V2... V2 Tap/Tape/echo as well... (got V1 both, few years old)........DAM PETE, He starts Ripping it Up at 4:10.....Bad ass!
