One thing i love from this guy is how humble he is. Avoiding at all costs any marketing description like "this is the new most magical thing you didn't knew you ever needed". Instead his clearly stating what his inspirations and starting points were. But still making something "magical" in the process which I thing is the amount of controls added into this thing, and of course, the quality of it's sound. This unit is AWESOME Bryan. Thank you.
@Mr_Bollie4 жыл бұрын
Wampler is humble, yeah. Just read the first sentence in the Terraform manual. They're not claiming, you just bought the best pedal on the planet, but they say, it's their take on a multi fx. It feels more like an offer, less like they're urging you to buy their stuff. I recently bought the Tumnus Deluxe and they don't make a huge marketing fuss about all those neat little details on their pedals. Like relay bypass, that doesn't pop, amazing build-quality, and such. I had never cared much about Wampler stuff, until I got that pedal. Won't be my last. Way to go, Wampler.

@@Mr_Bollie Same. I never really also had the cash for a pedal that's like 200 euros or something. But I had a lot of trouble with scammers over the SLOstortion pedal, getting scammed twice lmao But it singlehandedly became my default heavy distortion; it was exactly the sound I had always wanted. Then a while later I was thinking how I kinda needed a pedal that was between clean and distortion, bit of a pushed clean kinda sound and after some searching found the Tumnus pedal (cuz fuck buying a real CL0wN amirite. Which has now doublehandedly completed my gain staging for the considerable future I think. My sound in regards to pedals is now completed by 2 Wampler pedals. But I'm now thinking the only 2 pedals I would want to add are this here Terraform one. It is also exactly what I'd want from a modulation pedal all in one. I want to write all sorts of songs of various vibes with my band, and I can always use more wobbly noisemakers. The other last pedal is the Vitruvian Mod, for that real degenerate sound lol. Just infinite posibilities, and a whole lot thanks to Wampler now. Really really happy about their pedals, since learning about the company a bit, not just from catalogs lmao. Sincerely, a currently moderately stoned and talkative enjoyer of Wampler pedels and future customer of at least one more Wampler pedal lmao Cheers m8

What I like so much about Wampler pedals is how quiet they are when you turn them on. No white noise, he also comes up with incredible non fizzy overdrive tones. I tried the Belle and got the feel right away. It produced Marshall/Vox gain like to a cheap single coil guitar and one channel clean Fender tube amp. This guy makes great pedals

I love this pedal. It's very simple to use and it sounds amazing for a digital modulation pedal. This is the most organic sounding I've seen when it comes to digital modulation (I tested the Strymon, Boss MD's etc). I just spent the day with mine and I'm very surprised by how inspiring this pedal is. I would recommend making a video explaining all the MIDI procedures on this pedal. It doesn't seem that complicated but it's definitely the least easy thing to do on this pedal. I personally never seen a pedal company itself providing a video about MIDI on its pedals. Thank you for the great pedals you make!

Hey Brian, Congrats! I pre-ordered this from Sweetwater last week and I’m super excited for it to arrive. I’ve read the manual and watched all of the videos twice. I still need clarification on a few things: 1.) I can use 128 different PC messages, but only to recall the eight onboard presets, not 128 presets. Correct? 2.) Will there be MIDI CC implementation? It would be useful to bypass/engage remotely, for example. 3.) Does the tap tempo offer subdivisions? Depending on a song’s tempo, it can be murder trying to get an eighth-note or triplet tapped in. (All the demo-ers use their hands. Try that fast tap with a foot!) 4.) Does saving a rotary preset save the slow/fast position? Thanks so much!
@JakeSteffesDesign5 жыл бұрын
Hey Matt! 1. That is correct. In this manner, you will assign your 128 PC messages to one of the eight Terraform presets (or bypass, more on this in a second). For example, you could assign your preset1 to PC 5, 26, and 100, such that when the Terraform receives PC 5, 26 or 100, it loads preset1. 2. Good question! There is not MIDI CC on the Terraform. However, remote bypass/engage can be done with the program change. A. When you load a preset via MIDI, it will engage the Terraform. B. You can also bypass the Terraform via MIDI by associating a program change with bypass. To do this, press and hold the Preset Button until the Preset LEDs blink. Press the Preset Button until all 4 Preset LEDs are blinking simultaneously. Send a program change via MIDI to the Terraform, and then press and hold the Preset Button until the Preset LEDs return to normal. The Terraform will now associate that MIDI program change with bypassing the Terraform. (We are adding this to the online manual very soon) 3. The tap tempo does not provide subdivisions. 4. Yes, the rotary slow/fast setting is saved with the preset. (I wasn't sure if anyone was going to ever notice this particular feature, thank you for proving me wrong!) Let me know if you have any more questions, and I hope enjoy the Terraform!
