I have this pedal and the mids circuit is insane in its throw. I think the eq is a good patch for limited amps like my champ clone. Really good versatility out of the level and gain, for what the pedal is. Nice review, man.

Great review. I like how you went through the EQ controls. A Les Paul is going to need different tweaks when compared to a Strat. Really cool looking Epi too.

Got mine yesterday....I was impressed with my Timmy (eq is tricky though with 'cuts') ...THIS beast is just that...a simple and versatile beast. My Boss OD-3 just hit Reverb. Great review!!

Sounds amazing in your hands man! But what's interesting about the Deluxe version of this pedal is: you can make it sound pretty bad too, as you prove with the extreme knob twisting. With the standard Tumnus I find it easier to get tones I love with less knobs to worry about ;)

Thank you Rich! I think the benefit of the deluxe is that no matter what amp you use, no matter what guitar you use, you can get the tones you are looking for! But option paralysis is always lurking around the corner for sure!

This is the best Klon to get. I like it with max gain in hot mode.
