My favorite Samurai Showdown game in the series is still Samurai Showdown 3. It was the first game that let you select Amakusa, the mechanics were swift and jarring, and the animations were visceral. But every one of these games are legendary and I'm happy to see a new one released. Especially with everyone's favorite gigantic scumbag Earthquake in the roster.

@@anibaldiaz969 SS1 Wan-Fu's hard slash with his sword was fast, hit twice, and covered half the screen for huge damage. The downside was the lengthy recovery time, but it was still worth it. He was an actual threat in that game.

why is it when characters jump over to the other side of the opponent they appear as a mirror image and flip which hands that are holding their weapon and conveniently face the screen? if this were a real fight, earthquake would be still holding his chain so his blade end is in his right hand and the other end is in his left hand no matter which side of his opponent he is on and when on one side of his opponent his gut should be facing us and when on the other side his butt should be facing us. It is currently like a mirror.. makes no sense.
