Okay but with it being heavily possible Fake!Pietro is actually Peter from the X-Men verse, I'm literally just waiting for them to confirm the Maximoff's are Magento's children. I know the retconned it in the comics but they re-retconned so many stuff in the comics they can definitely make them Erik's kids again. Wait, DOES anyone actually accept that in canon the Maximoff's are no longer Magneto's children?? It seems to me like most people I've encountered pretend that little retcon didn't happen. AHHH THIS REMINDS ME OF HOW EXCITED I WAS TO MAKE WANDA, ERIK, AND LORNA VIDS WHEN THE GIFTED WAS AIRING BUT THEN IT GOT CANCELLED AND I NEVER THOUGHT OF A WANDA & ERIK VID --though tbh at first I thought it might be a pairing vid, which I have seen around the internet and to each their own--

Disney in 2015 not being able to present Pietro and Wanda as mutants etc. because of Fox who owned the film rights but owning the paper rights of the characters in a comic series they decided to eliminate the kinship thing but for me they will always be the sons of magneto and they could still succeed in the MCU because in the comics those who Wanda and Pietro believed to be their biological parents (on a cinematic level the Sokovian ones) turn out not to be his real parents but a couple who adopted them
