Wanda rocks. Nice to see her still rockin into her 70's. She deserves to be in the Country, Rock, and Rockabilly Halls of Fame. Not too many people know she helped Roy Clark get his start in the business by hiring him to play lead guitar for her on the road.

This woman is dynamite. Why am I a 63 year old rocker that is just now discovering this lady? She is a bad ass. She's went from a sweet young thing to a grandma with the same rocking enthusiasm. I freaking love her. I guess she wasn't popular in the 70s much? Too bad. I'd have gone to see her. She retired and I missed it.

God bless you Mr. Jack White! I am a fiercely supporter of old ,original, Rockabilly , magnificent lady that you extended your hand and guitar out too. Wanda Jackson should be in every hall of fame there is! Great to see your video and others. What a powerhouse! 💫💫💫💫💫👍

Every one has missed he point. Jack White is on guitar. Wanda on vocals. Now, think about this. She has been recording since the '50's. I'll wait and let you think about that a second......ok....now....She has been recording and performing for 60+ years!!! She is in her 80's and can hold her own with someone less than 1/3rd her age!!!! For the love of all things holy!!! Can we show some respect to a pioneer of rock and roll and rockabilly and has recorded hits in every decade since 1957? She is still performing today. Who else from that age is still at it? I can name 2....Chuck Berry and Little Richard. All others are dead or have faded away. Props to Wanda! She is a living legend!

walleye1970 Chuck Berry is coked out of his mind, check out recent vids of him performing at his club Blueberry Hill in St. Louis and try not to cringe. Wanda still has it, she is very lively in her performances and still sings remarkably close to how she sounded in the fifties. There are not a lot of performers out there who can rival there original sound 60 yrs later.

YOU ARE ABSOULUTLY CORRECT walleye1970 I never heard of Miss Wanda until now with the release of Cyndi Lauper's new CW cd titled DETOUR and she does a cover of Miss Wanda's FUNNEL OF LOVE. This woman deserves accolades for still jammin at 80+ yo God bless her. DM (Pgh,PA.)

to be fair if this was recorded in 2011 she would be 74 not 80... she's 79 today... not that it takes away how impressive it is, I agree with you just wanted to correct you on this.

How did I miss this lady? I'm 63 and just discovered her tonight. Wow. I'm blown away by her. I saw a video of her performing 60+ years ago and wondered why I had never heard her music. I'm thankful I finally found it.

I remember this rockin' lady from the early days and don't let her age fool you. She kicked ass. Even Elvis Presley thought she was a hurricane in heels and Jerry Lee Lewis was worried for awhile. She smoked. God Bless her. Did Bob Dylan's tune justice for sure..spewing those wordy lyrics like bullets.

I absolutely love and respect Wanda!!! She is unique.. The real queen of rock'n'roll! The wildest and also the kindest woman in rock'n'roll, country and pop music scene of the '50s and '60s. I love the way she changed the lyrics in "I kept thinking about Jerry Lee couldn't keep from crying When he was born in Ferriday, I was living down the line I'm wondering where in the world could Jerry Lee be I been looking for him, clear through Tennessee". They are still friends and they did their first tour in 1956 together❤️ They are still the best!!! Long live to (the real) Rock'n'Roll!!! Don't matter of what they say, Rock'n'Roll is here to stay folks!!

Amazing to see Wanda in her later years with the same spirit as she had in the 1950's and her voice was wonderful. Most Legends with few exceptions over time lose the sound they were once known for in their Hayday. I personally loved Wanda's Country and Ballad material more so than the Rockabilly sound she was so famous for. She could sing anything and will remain a Timeless Artist. I strongly suggest everyone get her Bear Family Box Sets - You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic! This video brings a smile to my face & I want to play along everytime! After I was shown this earlier this week, I kept thinking she was a part of my older brother's old record collection. Sure enough I remember hearing him play "We'll Sing in the Sunshine" on the HiFi when I was really little in the mid to late 60s. I knew I recognized her voice! Jack & the band is so sexy too! I'm old enough to remember when she wasn't "retro" - & young enough to LOVE it!
