The writers portrayed her arc amazingly well. From the intro tease from Winter Solider's post credit scene all the way to Multiverse of Madness. You just have to pay attention to the arc while it's playing and not have it shown to you by a video like this. Also I'm not trying to talk badly about the creator or this video as it's done really well and deserves credit for showing people, that wasn't paying attention, the arc that the MCU has paved so far for Wanda

Idk why people keep saying the writers have done her wrong. Her arch is very faithful to her comic book counter parts, yeah they tweaked some plot elements, but other than that her arch has been handled amazingly. Everything she's been through had lead her to her role in MOM, and I'm willing to bet money that we aren't done with her yet.

The sad thing is, she's never had any support whatsoever since Vision died. And when she tries to ask for help, she's viewed as a despicable monster. The public vilifies her grief. Doctor Strange rubs salt on the wound by telling her she has no children and turning against her the minute she succumbs to the Darkhold. If she'd had ANY help, maybe she wouldn't have fallen so far.

Funny how not a single individual considers Wanda’s entire character until they either need a powerful ally or use her as an example throughout the mcu. I for one will be sitting back in the theatre chuckling when Kang starts offing everyone’s favourite characters and then a self righteous audience & Strange himself says “we need her”

Destroying the Darkhold in every Universe, she saved countless lives from being affected or corrupted by that book. Specially since we saw that it basically screwed several Doctor Stranges and caused an Incursion. In one act, Wanda did more good than just helping defeat Thanos in one Universe. People saying she's unredeemable are the same people who still root for Kratos in God of War, a man who slaughtered countless innocent for revenge, Omni-Man in Invincible, a man who killed thousands just to prove that human life is meaningless for them, Loki who killed thousands because apparently his adopted and had a rough past, and Sinister Strange who destroyed his entire Universe to get his love one back.

I never expected to love this character more and more everyday of my life, it all started when I first watched Infinity War, my first entry into the MCU and Marvel as a whole. The character who grabbed me the most throughout the movie was Wanda, I started to become fascinated with her so much while waiting for Endgame to release. I learned more about her powers, her arc and her story and how I started to really emphasise with her. Just seeing her in WandaVision and Multiverse of Madness really made it worth the wait for me. But honestly, I want Wanda to be happy, to really feel like she’s at peace. I hate it when Marvel keep writing her into trauma time and time again, this woman has lost too much to the point she has nothing left behind. Her parents, Pietro, Vision and her children were her pillars of support; without them, she’ll crumble and the ocean of her grief will consume her. Even though Multiverse of Madness in some way regresses the progress Wanda made in WV, I can honestly understand why she would go to such lengths just to have her children once more to hold in her arms. The Darkhold took hold of her, corrupting her which makes her act so aggressive, on top of her trauma and anguish. Seeing her story from Age of Ultron to Multiverse of Madness makes me see Wanda’s point of view, making me want better for her in every movie, show and content the MCU puts out. The only person to really know what Wanda feels, is Wanda herself. I can remember watching Wanda falling to her knees at the end of MoM and how she cried seeing the life she could never attain in the reality she’s in, it made me cry just knowing the hell she went back and forth through in the movies she’s in, I couldn’t help but really feel for her and cry. I hope when we see her again, she’s in a better place; Wanda Maximoff deserves to heal, to love herself like how she loved her own family and loved ones, to be at peace and be with others that can help support her fully than letting Marvel make her stew in the darkness steeped in her heart and mind.
