WandaVision as a show was a gift to the speculation channels on KZbin. It was a fascinating juxtaposition of styles on the skeleton of an action mystery with an undertone of horror. My only complaint was that they could've fleshed out the (human) villain at the end; he would've been much better as a rational bureaucrat looking at the entire situation like someone logically would if they were in it in real life.

Love this series. How they act in the style of each era of TV accurately, and do it well. And the production doing the style of sets. They even used the same type of film from each period.

The Jim Carey movie is indeed The Truman Show. Great movie.

It is similar but the difference is it was being done to Truman from the outside, and in this show it is being done by Wanda from the inside

The black and white to color reminds me of the movie Pleasantville (1998). I hope you will watch that in the future. It stars Toby Maguire (00's Spider-Man), Jeff Daniels (Dumb and Dumber, the one who's not Jim Carrey) and other great actors, Reese Witherspoon, William H. Macy, Joan Allen

Yeah. I noticed you guys got really confused. Especially about Wanda. I'm sure after watching the last 3 episodes. You see how powerful Wanda is. Even more context is that Wanda is one of the most powerful beings in the entire Multiverse as Scarlet Witch. Think about this. Say there are 100 different marvel universes, creating the multiverse. In each of those universes there is 1 Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Thanos. Basically 99.9% of everyone who exists has 1 form of themselves in each universe. So for 100 universes that would be 100 different forms of each of those characters. BUTTTTTT. There is Only ONE Scarlet Witch for all 100 Universes. Same as the Phoenix Force. Which we see in Xmen with Jean Gray. Only very few beings are of this level. Can't wait for Dr Strange. I think Wanda may be the unintentional Villian untill we start to see Kang the Conqueror. Then the multiverse will need Wanda. Sorry just for context for future movies. Now you know how powerful she is. Limitless power basically.

I Love Lucy, Dick van Dyke, and Bewitched. They switched to color and followed the Brady Bunch. Each episode follows a different decade in style. Also, the "in show" scenes are shown in 4:3 (old school TV format) while the "reality" scenes are shown in 16:9 aspect. The next set of episodes will really blow your mind.

Interesting. I think you guys focus a lot less on which sitcom each episode is based on because your age and nationality basically makes it less likely that you ever saw the old shows that they are basing th eepisodes on.
