This is why I love marvel they have managed to bring in multiple obscure characters and made them FAN favorites. Like Guardians Of The Galaxy , characters no one knew about but became an household name with a tons of great songs. Or as we see her Monica, the MCU is her first screen debut EVER and I have a great feeling about her. And think who will fallow after her; Shang-Chi, The Eternals, Black Knight, Blade and Fantastic Four. (What I mean is while the Fantastic Four are well known characters, they have become more obscure over time, That thanks to movies no one wants to remember, no appearances in any more recent series or their own, which makes them limited to comics, so more older audiences might known them as well, younger audiences will consider them as a bit more obscure. Blade also because of his extremely limited appearances)

Captain Marvel 2 will quite probably take place several years before Infinity War, even possibly a few years before the first Iron Man. If Monica is a feature character in Captain Marvel 2, they would probably want to explain what happened after the end of the first movie and before us seeing her come back from the Snap that has her so mad at Carol Danvers.

The unsnappening. A theory. I think that is what is going to give us potential mutants. I think people who got snapped and brought back came back with the x gene, so people who already had powers have their powers boosted, those who didn't have powers now have the potential to gain them. Kids will get them with puberty, but adults will require some kind of trigger to activate the x gene, you know like going through a strange magical barrier a few times (looking at you Monica)...

That’s the standard for female characters, see Rey from Star Wars. Lady’s are just so smart they can skip decades of training. An honest answer though, she probably just instinctively braced herself to hit the ground, kinda like tensing up and her powers responded. And the sensory part was something that was already just going on and she was trying to clear her vision (I.e. focusing on seeing normally) so a bit of a stretch but easy to say she just got lucky? Idk I kind of don’t like how some characters skip learning how to do what they do if they could never do it before
