oh my god this sums up their relationship to a tee and the fact it was sung by jack mcbrayer makes it PERFECT‚‚‚‚ only thing is that I’ve never heard this song before and couldn’t understand half the words! Do you think you could add captions to it?? auto generation only said [Music] for the majority of the vid 😔 aside from that i love everything about this!!! jack mcbrayer did us a favor by channeling so much wander energy for the perfect wander song‚ and you captured his expressiveness SO well i love this. I’m absolutely sending this piece of art to my boyfriend who loves woy :)

(i’m gonna have my answers be different comments so i don’t confuse myself): my motivation mostly came from the fact that there wasn’t yet a wander over yonder animatic for this song, and i really wanted there to be! this is by no means the first animatic i’ve started, but it is the first one i’ve finished. The difference between this and my failed attempts, i think, is that i wasn’t making this animatic for the sake of making something, rather i was making it because i really wanted this thing to exist and nobody was gonna make it happen except me.

@@hindsunup6777 2. storyboarder and photoshop! storyboarder is a free desktop storyboard app and it’s really nice. it also has a feature where you can edit the boards in photoshop (which is not free but i already had) so that’s how i did the cleaner drawings (i did the rough ones straight in storyboarder). you don’t have to use photoshop though! i just used it because it’s more comfortable for me personally to draw in.

@@hindsunup6777 3. I spent more than two months working on this daily, so there was time for lots of different emotions. At some points, especially in the beginning and end, i was excited and happy! I was proud that i was finally accomplishing a goal of mine. But for a LOT of the time, i was also pretty tired and frustrated. I kept having to redraw things, the timing would get messed up, i would feel i was too slow, i would forget why i was doing it in the first place, i would get tired of hearing the song over and over again- but i pushed through it!! I did take breaks of course, but i actually think i should’ve taken more. Heck, on one of my worst days while working on this, i spent multiple hours on one drawing only to delete it the next day because it was too overworked. That all being said, a lot of the time i don’t think i was experiencing any particular emotion because i was too focused on working on it to notice how i was feeling. Overall i’d say it was fun though!
