So about starting weapons, what they could do is just have you go in with no weapon and when you enter the zone it gives you the random weapon select screen. Which would keep with the roguelike aspect of the game.

I think mining speed definitely influences loot bug pop speed

yep it does, the most noticable is when using driller main.. when you max the stack you can almost instantly popped loot bug compared when you dont have stack

How about you get 3 weapon choices when you start the run. I think that would solve the issue of “I want to pick my starting weapon” while preventing you from always grabbing the best weapon you could get.

Fair point, but that's always a problem. If I didn't like my 2nd weapon, I can throw and I only lose a few minutes.

Not sure if you have it yet, but the last weapon that you can currently unlock with the Driller is another plasma weapon. It is similar to the breach cutter, but it only fires a single ball of plasma that can bounce around. Paired with the other plasma weapons, it could probably be very effective. Plasma is one of my favorite damage types aside from Acid thus far. I managed to get my LMG turrets on a run to have both the tracks upgrade and plasma upgrade, and they were absolutely shredding everything. It did help that I had the experimental plasma charger that I was unlocking the overclocks for, so I was getting upgrades for all plasma damage...

Oh yeah I originally wanted to say that the way you are currently reconciling your feeling about the shodenbfroyed effect feelings you allow yourself to feel an appropriate amount of satisfaction about people getting the carma they deserve, but also feeling bad that it's happened to them because they could have learned the lesson so much easier if they just had more sense or whatever the activities negative behavior is. Not seeking out feeling happy about bad things happening, but understanding it feels good and vindicating.

23:52 no, but the temptation to do that is understandable. The best way is to consider how we can all do stupid things, we can all get injured, it can all happen to us too. You can still not like this person, but unless their actions are crimes again human dignity, we should not allow thst part of us to triumph and feel good for someone else's pain.

I think we don't have enough information to really say what we'd feel in the situation. It does sound like they're continuing to perform whatever action he dislikes them for, and it's what caused them to be hurt, so it's not an accident. It makes me think of the people who do 'practical joke' videos. It's not funny when someone is hurt or distressed, but they continue to make them because they are rewarded for doing so. While I don't say revel in their pain, at the same time, they are in no way his responsibility, so I don't think there's any reason to feel guilt.

I want a starting character where you can banish 2 tags from ever appearing in your run and stay with the current 3 sub-classes, but be able to pick a starter based on what's available to them. But you'll be only able to take it on an elite dive which would up the hazard per map and add some scary modifiers to spice it up.

I enjoy these Video's a ton Wander, I hope they keep doing well. I wonder what future class support this game could have, more than just subclasses. I also saw there will be a gem covered loot bug as well. I'd like a level of class customization, or variety at least that approaches Halls of Torment, my favorite Bullet heaven so far. This one seems to take inspiration from Soulstone Survivors in terms of progression, some more levels for a run would be good, or a bonus floor that can be reached. Perhaps your last drop pod will give you a jet suit that lets you level when you die and get more loot and gun levels... we must level cap all 4 items.

The devs have said there will be no more full classes added to the game. Funday Games wanted to, but GSG was staunchly against, since in the original DRG there are only four dwarves. Subclasses was Funday's way of improving class variety while sticking with the original four dwarves.

mining speed does affect the loot bugs too. However, its a shame that the weapons that do dmg to terrain or mining does not count, i was hoping they would work on lootbugs too but they dont.

The Pay-to-Win artifact is GREAT from the 5th level where you only need to kill the boss, before that it's no good. Much like the Nitra = damage at the cost of speed, it has a VERY limited use case. BTW, at Hazzard 5 the COLD/FIRE Belts are decent to pick up, the knockback on damage can help clear a path when you are almost cornered.

Honestly, I appreciate your spicy gambits. It makes the videos more enjoyable for me. Besides, if you're not pushing the boundaries, how else will you know what you can get away with? 😈 Hmmm yeah, that's a rough spot to be in. Like, it's natural to have a desire for justice, but it becomes another beast when the intent shifts and one revels in another's pain. I remember when Let's Game it Out became a solo gig and his buddy left. I felt like they had good chemistry and were pretty funny together. Josh is a funny dude. I think that's his name. It's super sad when a _friend_ is salty about your success. I've lost several people I called friend to their extreme jealousy, but it was for the best because you realize they weren't your friend to begin with. We're supposed to be happy for each other! Yooooo NLSS 😌 Yeah, definitely agree with your take on the sub Reddits and its toxic ilk. The amount of virulence in some of the things people do is just staggering, and you have to wonder why you're there reading it in the first place. if you're on the 5th stage of a run, is there even a point to collect gold and nitra? isn't the only use to just spend it at the end of the stage?

A couple reasons. For one, it allows you to scale certain artifacts, and for two, it gives you bonus credits and experience after the run.

I have always despised those types of videos where one is supposed to laugh at others hurting themselves. I have never taken pleasure into others' misfortune, even if it's someone I dislike. One thing that may have influenced my feelings about it is that I'm disabled, and I think a symptom of my disability is that I have an abundance of empathy, and as my therapist once said, it seems like the membrane that exists to differentiate between my own and others' feelings are very thin. For example, I always cry if I see someone cry, even on TV and even if I don't know the context why they are crying. I get a sense of intense sadness, which is a problem, because since I don't know the source of the sadness, I can't make changes to alleviate that sadness. It's just a feeling that's being tacked on; I instinctively know it's not my feeling, as in originating from within myself, but I feel sadness all the same. It's a strange feeling and it's hard to describe.

In response to how you are unsure of how to enjoy the misfortune of those who do wrong. My wife has a work friend who is living with her deadbeat boyfriend. She wanted to help her friend financially by grabbing her some diapers for her kids. I told her yes, but so long as she is paying his way instead of making him get a job, this is a 1 time thing. However, that friend has recently started forcing her boyfriend to either get a job or she will move out. I had my wife take her on a girls day that we paid for. I watched her and our kids. We reward good choices. I took great pleasure in picking her kids up and seeing the boyfriend feeling uncomfortable that my family was taking better care of his girlfriend and her kids than he did.
