A lot of issues I’m having with recent deck builders are they are just too complex for me with cards having multiple upgrade paths and multiple characters at the same time. The animations are smooth as butter so maybe I’ll try this one out though

Keep playing until you find what works. Really quite simple. A lot of defense cards (shields) are useful in the beginning and mid-game, then moderate 2 and 3-card heavy attacks start to become more important in the mid-game.

Wow, that first enemy in zone 2 looks way overtuned - a boatload of HP, more damage than you can reasonably block EVERY SINGLE TURN, *and* he ocasionally blocks 1 attack to boot? Unless you're supposed to prioritise bloating your deck with high-power cards (especially since you've got the whole virus situation going on), i don't see how you're supposed to get away unscathed from this enemy - barring an overpowered god run, of course.
