It seems like XP gain is for speeding to overclocks more than for raw level count, the massively increased XP requirements in the 50s means you need a ton of XP bonus for it to add up to extra levels, but getting every overclock 12% faster means you become powerful earlier which then feeds into you getting even stronger.

Also in higher hazard, its hard to grab all the xp so that upgrade is very helpful

For anyone maining the sniper, you want to take the clip size buff if it pops up. Last choice let's you combine all bullets into 1 and that stacks with the clip size. That's how you can get crits for tens of thousands

I feel like a really good way to balance out Nitra and Gold, while still allowing you to get upgrades you want if you’re just a little bit off, is to be able to buy a limited amount of one material or the other, at a 2x conversion rate. For example, Wander was just off that bigger cogs upgrade for the Boomstick, he could’ve bought a bit more Nitra with his gold. Maybe buying a max of 30 of one or the other would be worth it? It would make sure you can’t turn all of your gold into nitro or vice versa for bonuses, but you can buy those upgrades you are just barely missing.

Wow, how different. I remember back when you could bare take out a 1/4 of the final bosses hp, and then they scaled soo much you got swarmed.

What I have noticed with the artifact upgrades that add damage or crit chance, etc. is that you can see the effect they are doing by the stats you can see in the menu when you right click. I have watched the damage percentage change from the end of a level to the start of the next after buying upgrades. (when using the gold-tipped bullets). So I think the buffs given by the artifacts are calculated at the same time as the normal stat buffs you get from leveling upgrades.

2:32 Did I hear somebody say Rock and Stone!? 13:14 As for the Plasma run it's not really late game since the two damage type upgrades are yellow and the other two weapons are innate plasma; you just need to be lucky. You have DRAK-25 (medium weapon scout unlock), and Plasma Burster, both start as plasma damage type. There's the LMG Turrets upgrade and Warthog shotgun upgrade to plasma damage. So the easiest way would be for LMG or shotgun Engi start and hope to roll all the other 3. I truly think that hard directional weapons like Zukhovs and BRT7 Burst Fire Gun should have plasma upgrade for at least that bounce potential even when you're not hitting anything. 27:40 In regular DRG there are Passive and Active perks, (Iron's Will 1-time revive, tame a hostile bug, etc.), some passives could be implemented as well like Thorns - you could make a passive that does contact damage to enemies, or the one that makes you more damage resistant near the mule, or the faster resupply one - combine thosetwo into a passive that gives you armor and extra reload speed while standing near the supply drop. There are options, I think the game's success should be a big enough incentive for the devs to expand upon it.

At 300% crit damage a 15% crit damage upgrade is a 5% increase. It’s at 600% crit damage when 15% become only a 2.5% overall increase.

Wonder on the M1000 overview of the first run if the damage it did is real damage or damage it caused. meaning if a bug only has 100 health and it the M1000 does 500 does it then count only the 100 or the 500?
