I’ve worked with Hayden for over 5 years on many, many video shoots all around the world and over the years. He's helped me create some of the best videos on this channel, "Song of Sosa", "Keluarga" and "Taipei Flow" to name a few. As an adventurer, he's the best I know; self-reliant, always curious, and he has an amazing eye for the world around him.
We recently were offered the opportunity to take one of Royal Enfield's new bikes, the Himalayan Scram 411, for a spin. I asked Hayden if he'd mind me making a little short film out of it, so I could get a little more of an insight into what makes him tick. He agreed and this is that film.

So good. I love how you managed to combine cinematic shots with a sincere, real VO, not like an ad but just a conversation. And that's also quite true to the spirit of the bike. Well done guys, you should be proud.

Absolutely stunning video, you guys are taking motorcycle storytelling to the next level, capturing the emotion and the machine perfectly, thanks for sharing - love the message being shared here, motorcycling really does break the boundaries of everyday life and makes you want to "get out there" - I had a chance to ride the Scram 411 and totally agree, it feels so at home in any landscape!

You'd be surprised. I took it for a test ride and, with me weighing 100kgs, found it very torquey. Much livelier than I expected for a bike that size.

I thought the narration was sadly playing to stereotype, nothing surprising there, but the cinematography was excellent.

@@sebbwebbo7557 I agree: the whole scene reeks of hipsterism. But hey, this is an advert for RE and the target audience will lap it up. The original Stories of Bike had way more passion, the new ones are just shot/written to a main-stream script 😣

nicely shot 😍 Too bad that the bike is a POS, from a technical point of view. But the typical owner (fanboi) of one probably won't be able to tell 😂
