@@j.sumner6999 I do too!!! Her performance in "Ride the Man Down" was Award Worthy. A great movie, and absolutely best Supporting Actors, the (Brothers) the "Young Boys, Mel and Jim"! If not for our "Carbolic Ella" they would have completely Stole the Show. As it was they were Scene Stealers of the Highest Quality. Absolutely Great Cast including everyone's favorite "Chill Wills" Ella was Gorgeous and full of Spice,!

Rob, one of my many jokes is,,,,, Dennis Hopper, my wife, and I have 1 thing in common. All 3 of us were born at the same hospital (St. Anthony's) in Dodge City Kansas! Now I can add 1 more! Toby Keith wrote "Should have been a Cowboy" while at a Pheasant hunting trip in Dodge City. One of my "bucket list" is I'd like to meet you. You've given my many hours of YT videos that bring back memories!

Mister Word, as a 78 year old I should know better, but for several years now I've been enjoying both the Westerns you share with us, AND your entertaining and very informational introductions. Please, let this be my apoligy for not commenting or giving you a thums up until now. In the 1950's my father was stationed at the Navy Base in Seattle and every Saturday nite we would go to the Base movie where 1 of the 2 films was ALWAYS a Western.

Rob, I don’t think Warren lacks charisma. He is a good actor for me. As you’ve said, tall, good looking, fair horse rider. His performance was adequate for the character he was playing. Honest performance. He has some resemblance with young Gary Cooper. Gary looks too much overactive (dramatic) for me in his first movies (but gets better with age). Happy trails to you. God bless.

I am glad to see that the western movies are back on "Word's Wayback" although this is a repeat (or remake). Martin is good as Chito. Why didn't they make him a leading man? He looks like he could do it. I thought Warren was good too. Audrey is beautiful and capable. I noticed Jason Robards in the opening credits, but I didn't recognize him. I know that Jason Robards Jr. became quite famous. 😊👍 As for the pilot for "Trigger Tales" I can understand why it wasn't picked up. Warren was good, and Glenn Strange was an interesting villain, but the rest of the cast was stiff. The plot wasn't bad, but the production was poor.

Tommy Cook is in this, he had a very interesting life - bank robber, prison, been shot and herded cattle up from South America back to the states. He met the Lord, went to seminary and was a preacher to convicts and pastor of Shady Acres Baptist Church at Texas - one of my favorite preachers.

Must be another Tommy Cook, king. This Tommy began as a child actor and worked in many films growing up and continued into adulthood. I was lucky to have him as a guest. Here's the link to our conversation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6CTZ2yLetllaM0si=fYl1g5RqaqsX6qSz

Hmmmm.....I've seen this somewhere before. Was it here? I'd say it was worth a second look. Not so much with "Trigger Tales." Sheeeesh. I suppose they had to stick in all the yakking to replace the action in a short piece. I do have to wonder, though, how a bullet to the hat is enough to knock you off your horse. Have a great weekend, Rob! -MJ
