LJL0619 Thank you! I try to follow Newman’s piano playing as close as I can and sing in my own style. I have the sheet music for the piano part I transcribed for this recording if anyone wants it.

@@jaybeardmusic8074 Jay, very nice work, and yes the piano is very close to Randy's play. I sure would love to have the sheet music to try my hand at it. I so dearly love this song. Those "sus4 hanging chords are so beautiful.

@@jaybeardmusic8074 Your piano playing here is indeed very close to Randy's. I would love to have the sheet music to try my hand at the song. It may be my favorite Randy Newman song--and that's saying a lot. It is just so beautiful with those hanging sus4 chords.
