Man... I listened to this with my buddy and inside I cried. I told him how much I really am alive when he's by my side. Taking on the world, experiencing life together... I honestly feel like my life is complete when he's around, and I could never live my life the same without him. I've always said to him that we are two halves of the same whole; we just don't function without each other. He means a lot to me and I mean a lot to him. We're always there for each other no matter what. I can't imagine what would happen to me if he had passed on so soon... There was something about this that made us feel so connected. For that we are nearly inseparable. I hope we stay as close as we are forever...

I’m only 16 and I feel like I grew up in the wrong time period. When I should’ve been playing my 360 I was playing my ps2. Playing this game and so many others that have influenced the way I think today. This song has helped me through so much. And now I need it to again. I’ve fallen in love with a senior and I feel so conflicted because she’s about to graduate. Leaving me behind. I just hope I can spend as much time with her as possible this summer before then.

Go for it man. I'm 25 years old. Love of my life was 18 I was 14. She was my sister's friend first. But I got in and stuck around alot. We became so close and intimate. Talking late night. Hanging out after church, work social functions. When I turned 16 *legal age of consent in the state of FL* she had to move away to Pennsylvania. We still talked. She came back in town for my sisters wedding. I was alot older and taller. We went to the beach and walked for what seemed like hours. I wanted to kiss her...and she gave me the opening. But....I hesitated...I regret it till this day. She has a daughter now with some dude in prison. When I left Florida to live in North Carolina. A year later she moved back to FL. We've never seen each other since... Dont hesitate. Explore those feelings. Pursue this Senior you've come to grow feelings for...dont hesitate.

I'm sitting here at the edge of my life, contemplating everything that's wrong with me (nothing) and somehow this sad ass video gave me the moxie to go on. Trouble with my dad, inability to connect with the woman I love, I can just high five them in the after life when I get there. Probably not, but everyone I've ever loved, but couldn't quite say it right to understands me and who I am. Jecht and Yuna can wait until I'm ready (never). I go on this morning, because it's too much trouble to leave. And because there is obviously another guitarist that understands. I'll waste what's left of my life in memoriam of this music and how it touched me today.

2020 has been a horrible experience. With a governor in California hell bent on destroying the economy. It's been a hot mess. Just when I think things are starting to get better. My dog passes away, breaking my spirit. He had a heart attack. The vet was unable to restart his heart. Lots of sleepless nights. High anxiety, and depression. If it wasn't for the gym, lofi, and my best friend being there. I don't think I could of made it. I went to the beach, cried my eyes out in public. I didn't give a damn. I listened to wondering flame for over a hour. Thinking about the times I had with my little pup. Been awhile since I had eyes that red. I miss you Harley. Please look after Max, Jack, and Ryder for me. I miss you guys so much. 😔

Dude...lifelong fan of this game, as in "had the Prima's Official Guide, got the Celestial Weapons" and everything. This track has stuck with me for years, years and years. Its so heartwrenching, for being so simple. FFX is a tragedy and this song is a threnody - Like the repeated notes, Tidus is stuck in this loop, beyond the Farplane, beyond the Dream of the Fayth and fading. Like Baaj temple and the ruins of Zanarkand, he is doomed to be lost to time as well. If you think about when this song takes place (the second time): Tidus is there beyond the gate in Guadosalam; even viewing Chappu's image in the pyreflies - as a myth. A living ghost made up of parts. He himself isn't even there in the sense that Chappu is. Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Great Freezer: the place where time stands still. And for some reason he was chosen for this path only to fall in love, to travel the world with his love, to drive back the spawn of Sin and things maybe even older Beyond the Darkness (Omega, Ultima), to become a hero capable of rebuilding a world righted after thiusands of years -- only to have these things fade away from him in the end. Even after finally figuring out the riddle, finally breaking the cycle, finally killing god himself (Yu Yevon) to prove his loyalty to his friends and his love. To have her slip through his arms and land sprawling on the deck of the airship he helped see renewed and used to rescue her from an evil lord like a prince rescuing a princess. To be unable to comfort her even as she uttered the words, and he said them back with all his sincerity and meaning - but his only true embrace with her being in Macalania, before all this madness. He could not even touch her shoulders, though he tried. Your track has encompassed that Wandering Flame of tragedy. I think most of all I feel the loss in this rendition, it's raw. I'll admit, i never played FFX-2. I liked the bittersweet tragedy that was Yuna's uniting of Spira, strong even in her grief. The mystery of why Tidus woke up and where. Like the Wandering Flame left bountiful soil in its wake. Thank you for this track, man. It brought back a lot.
