Thank you so much for this video! The editing is s-class as always. Inhad this game on my wishlist but your video bumped it up quite a few positions. I really want to play as that cute "little" turtle-beetle-robot-guy! But all of the character design seems to be great. I'll definitely need to play the game at some point!

Thanks for the preview! Found you guys from looking for a Freelancers playthrough. Some questions that I had watching this though: 1) First and foremost is the skill check system. I know this isn't Jerry's first time going from dice to cards, but how do you feel that fares in a Crossroads game? How difficult is deck management, and does it help to fail? I suppose that with Freelancers, the stress/luck system does allow for too easy rerolls and aim for decent if not perfect results. 2) The one/two player option sounds like the sidekick varient from Freelancers (that you 2 used before). How would you compare Wandering Galaxy's 1/2 player to Freelancers? Would it be easier just to play multihanded? Or did Jerry do that deck merge a la Familiar Tales? I'm looking forward to more previews, and hopefully even a mini play through (doesn't have to be an entire quest, but maybe a few pages, skill checks, and deck management to get an idea)

you forgot to mention a sixth and not so known crossroads game: GEN 7 :)

The glamour shots of the components were beautiful, however, this was the first video we watched for Wandering Galaxy and we had never played a Crossroads game before, so we didn’t really know what we were looking at or how the game is played. We got the theme, we are very interested in the theme, we are sold on the setting and feel of the game, but I wish there was some more peeks at what we will actually get to do and experience in the game. Just a little peek.

Totally get it but with it being a campaign we want to make sure we protect people from spoilers!

Looks so good! How did you like it compared to Familiar Tales? Also do you know how many scenarios it is and how long each scenario is?

So, in the Who is this For segment, the only concrete things that were said was that you'd like it if you either a) liked previous crossroads games or b) are a kid. Didn't really explain why a typical gamer who has never played a crossroads game before would like or not like in this game. Only some "you might not likes" along the lines of silliness and app/reading. Any additional guidance based on the mechanics or comparing this to other non-crossroads games? Thanks.

What’s a “typical” gamer? I don’t think that nomenclature exists, there’s a wide spectrum of gamers and non that can be reduced down to a typical. If you like narrative, cooperative, story driven decision making processes then this might be for you. The crossroads system is relatively unique to itself, so comparing it mechanically to non crossroads games isn’t as easy as you’re inferring here.

I think it’s a game for those who like space, narrative driven games and it is more “gamer” compared to other crossroad titles.
