As an Afghan: let me explain a little bit; there is no rules for becoming a tourist guide so everyone could say that he is a tour guide; I think it is very important to know your tour guide well so a good interview is very important to hire a mature person, someone that could represent the culture good and know how to deal with Afghan children. Afghanistan was a battle ground for 42 year for the world's supper powers. Afghanistan was isolated from the rest of the world and that is why the children are looking at foreigners like they came from the space. Afghanistan has a very beautiful nature but Emma has not seen it and will not experience the real beauty and culture of Afghanistan with the wrong tourist guides.

This was not my choice of guide , it was Amir that chose him , and had been using him , I spent a long time in Afghanistan and I got to see the real culture and meet real people , not just scenes of chaos like this lol …

Emma that is such a bad situation you were in. Yes, everyone was nice and excited to see you but the amount of men that crowded around you was not good. You are putting yourself in very bad situations and it can turn very quickly. It doesn't matter if you are in Afghanistan or London, when you have that many men surrounding you, all it takes is one guy to do something and it can unleash a catastrophic situation for you.

Hi Emma since from your first visit to Afghanistan I watched every single vlogs of yours from Afghanistan. As an afghan Canadian thanks for showing my city after along time I was not able to see it. I am so sorry for the inconveniences you had from our people. Lemme say something those people can't be blamed for there weird attitude cause they haven't seen someone from outside of world handing a go pro camera and talking in English. yes they have seen but only on internet. not meet them physically. here is some of my advice if you don't mind it. though you ever want to visit Jalalabad city again first of all please try to find a guide who can be fluent, flexible in English and pashto. Secondly visit this area in the city zone. 1. Pashtonistan Square 2. Mukhaberat Square 3. Adam Khan Kabab 4. Chardehi Hotel 5. Baba Wali Hotel Skyscrapers from where you can view all the city. 6. Spinghar Tower 7. Etihad Tower 8. City Tower 9. Behsod Bridge Hotels in front of Kabul river. 10. Sirajul - Emarat Park. 11. Ghazi Amanullah Khan Tample. Places outside from city to visit (districts) 1. Kama where you can find delicious creamy icream although known as sheryakh. From pakiza and humayon mama. 2. Kuz Kunar Nakamura Park. 3. Dara-e-noor where you can feel and find your self in the spirit of nature. You have just left one mother of nature province from visiting which is called Nuristan that can be also accessed from Jalalabad but it's a long way drive. Cause the road is unpaved dusty, and bumpy well anyway. Anytime you're trip is on route or planning please try to find a guide or message me I can also meet you with my friends whom can assist you in your trip. Just leave me a message. Please take this as an advised though never walk around the city by your self it's to risky Afghanistan is still not safe. I am aware of all the security risks. That's why I am trying to aware you. Please be careful and stay safe. Lots of love Thank you.

Your friend from England just left you on the streets of Jalalabad?! I would be furious but I'm glad you're safe now. Those streets are crazy. Kabul seems so much more civilized, these people didn't understand personal space or general manners. You're very brave. I was nervous for you.
@afghanland65292 жыл бұрын
The same Kabul manner that killed Farkhunda like a wild beast. You piece of shits are the cause to letting such corruption spread since you are close minded and blind to truth. Afghans are same, everywhere same good and bad, some may have not seen foreigners but those who have seen still behave similar. So instead of divisive thought, work for collective respect for democractic rights (personal space is often last thing people learn in a democracy, like India it is 70 years but personal space still not observed which is okay cause democracy is like that, it takes about 100 years to pass to 2nd, 3rd gen to behave at that level, but nontheless it does not have to do with civilization. You perhaps need more education to clarify your defintions.
