*explanation about how Emma's Hotel was attacked* there were 2 persons who attacked the Hotel. They booked in hotel 15 days ago. They were living in 7 floor. In these 15 days they had won the trust of the security forces. They placed a few bombs in 8th floor. Yesterday night, they began their attack. At first the guy in 7th floor throw a grenade at the Guards down below on the streets. Then the other attacker entered the Hotel and began shooting the guards. The guy in 7th floor had detonated the bomb on 8th floor. He went up, injured the cook chef and shot a RUSSIAN guy Idk why but they said the cook was only inured, he was hiding in bathroom and the Islamic Emirate anti terrorist unit officers found him unconscious there bleeding, he is in ICU right now. The attacker from below, he entered the hotel, throw a grenade at guards room and after it had exploded, he went up to the 3th floor. After a few min the anti terrorist special unit arrived, they couldn't enter the hotel because the attacker were throwing grenade after each other. Sniper went to the opposite building and they began shooting at the attacker. 2 Chinese and 1 afghan ( i think was afghan I'm not sure) they jumped out of window ( idk from which floor) After few min an officers ran inside and began searching for the suspect, unfortunately the terrorist faced him and kind of hugged him and explode himself up. Idk if the officer is alive or not ( but i hope he is alive 🤲🏼) The speaker of the anti terrorist unit said none of the guest were killed, only 3 or 4 inured, 1 the cook and 3 who jumped out of the window. But there is also the Russian guy, they showed his room on 7th floor i think, he was praying as they shot him, so idk if he was killed or inured. All together i think 1 anti terrorist officer was killed, 3 or 4 guests were inured. This isn't the final report, so we don't know exactly how many were killed and how many were inured. The guest ran up to the restaurant section where there was a armored door and i think the door and the sniper on the roof of the opposite building, have protected the guest and prevented the terrorist from entering the restaurant section because the restaurant section is on the last floor. Now people will understand why Taliban stop and search and " bother" people while they are traveling, it's because of these kind of attacks. The attackers were uyghurs from isis group. Uyghurs live in China and they have kind of fighting between each other. That's why they attacked the Chinese hotel. They might have had Chinese passports because lots of uyghurs have Chinese passport and that's why nobody was suspicious about them otherwise Chinese are very sensitive towards uyghurs specially in Afghanistan. I will inform you as soon as i get new information and the exact number of inured and killed people. Hopefully the numbers are not so high.

Wow thank you for such a detailed explanation of what happened… yes I remember the Russian guy that stayed there … The restaurant is on the 9th floor , most that lived there lived on 4th or 5th floors ( where I was ) and yes I know where the guards room was , I can’t believe this happened, it’s so sad as everyone there was just so nice 😞

Emma- Thank you so much for visiting Afghanistan and I hope you had a good time. There were a lot of people online calling you names. Please note that they do not represent the majority views of the Afghan people. Your visit to Afghanistan made it possible for other tourists to come to Afghanistan and see its natural beauty and hospitable people. The Afghan people are living through difficult economic times. Hopefully the international community will help them with aid or at least allow them to live in peace. The Afghan people have seen enough hardship during the past 44 years and hope the international community understands that war in Afghanistan will benefit no one. Cheers

It’s called “Torkham border” and everyone refers to it as the land crossing between afghan and Pakistan… nobody says I’m crossing the “Durand line “ it’s a land border where I need to clear afghan immigration then enter Pakistan immigration and get my passport stamped … so to me and many others it’s Torkham border … there are other vlogs about crossing this land border… only borders have immigration… thanks for the advice but I’m not changing my title as I crossed a land border..

I had told you before to get out of Afghanistan, Emma. I am happy that you crossed the border, because 12 hours ago the same hotel that you were staying in came under attack by three gunmen. The whole building was on fire, people jumped from windows and balconies, and more than 30 people were killed and injured. I am so sad for my people and my country. It has become a safe heaven for the terrorist groups, and god knows what future holds for us. When a terrorist group grabs the power, then you see insecurity, radicalism, and brutality.

Emma please don't use a small or hidden camera to film in Afghan areas which you should not film in or are not allowed to film because firstly, it's illegal and against our laws and secondly, it's putting our national security at risk...it other Western countries or your own country, you would not illegally film so respect our laws and no-film areas.
@maggie27592 жыл бұрын
In all of Europe and probably the rest of the world, you are allowed to film!. and there was nothing in Emma's filming at the border, that would put anyone in danger?.. lots of people film borders and put it on youtube.. Pakistan and India one, is filmed every day!...

What did I Film illegally? I put my camera off when I was in the areas that said no filming … dealing with all the immigration points … there are many stops in my video where I put it away … Yes I have used my small camera before but it’s so it’s more discreet as people react differently when they see a camera, I didn’t want people to see me filming as I didn’t want a crowd around the camera …. There are many videos on this crossing ….I just looked ! how does this put national security at risk? Like I said , if you watched it , you can see I put it away when dealing with both sides of immigration officials 🤷♀️

@@phoenixrising8640 there is no arm in a camera.. it only takes pictures!!.. their border to be brutally honest, doesn't look that well guarded anyway!!, lots of places, where you can get through!!.. so one little camera is not doing any damage.. and Afghanistan, needs tourism, if people see videos, it hopefully encourages, other people to go there.. it all helps the economy!... there are many beautiful places, that Emma has shown us in Afghanistan. the world needs to see it.
