You can opt Bamboo Airlines or Vietnam Airlines instead of Vietjet Airlines for domestic flight with Free Check in Baggage(Almost same price or Max to max Rs 500-600 more than Vietjet).. But, if you don't have Check in Baggage & Only 7kg Cabin Bag, then Vietjet is best in terms of price... But, for Check-in Baggage they Charge Much more compare to any other Airlines... From india to Vietnam you can opt IndiGo ( free checked in bag & only From Kolkata) or AirAsia... But, if you don't have Check in Baggage, then Vietjet is best for budget travelers...

i agree with your opinion in general, but in addition to cheaper fares you also get direct connection to hanoi/HCMC/Danang from Delhi/Mumbai with Vietjet.
